I agree with the comments above.
You are going to need to make a missing mail request, but I wouldn’t do it until at least 7 days have passed since you mailed them. It’s all about buying time.
You’ll also want to send your buyers a preemptive message regarding the current USPS delays nationwide.
In the meantime, all you can do is hang tight.
Good luck.
Chili Dog sounds great especially in the winter.. maybe with an option for hot chocolate.
Nothing like you guys, but I had a priority package stuck 11 days at the San Bernadino CA Post Office. After filing the missing mail request, it was delivered 26 hours later in Alabama.
Either it was a strange coincidence, or that missing mail request sometimes works.
Merry Christmas everyone.
Feeling like a VIP at the Post Office, as I walk past the long line of “Holiday Shippers” to leave my prelabled package on the counter.
I haven’t ordered checks in years.
If I actually have to send one, I can do it on the bank website and a physical check gets mailed to the other party. I have a routine service done at my house once a year and this is how I pay for it.
Otherwise, all my banking is done online. If I choose, I can even deposit checks through the bank App, but I prefer to use the bank ATM to do this.
As a rule, physical checks can be risky, because your account number and routing umber is printed on them.
This may seem trivial, but I noticed that the feedback you leave for buyers, does not contain your store name. For example: ” Thank you for your purchase from XYZ Company”
It just seems like a lost opportunity to me, especially since it only takes a few minutes to set up.
Otherwise, I agree with others. The pictures etc, look good and most buyers are probably making purchases based on Ebay or Internet search, not store browsing.
Good Luck
That sounds like a great idea with the dining room table.
Post some picks when you are done for us to see.
Thanks Temudgin,
The larger table top surface is literally the top of a table I removed the legs from. I cut boxes right on top of it and it has the scars to prove it. It functions pretty well.
The darker smaller surface is from an old desk. The smaller top and a much narrower piece on the other side of the surface can be slid to the sides to reveal shallow storage areas for tape or whatever.
I didn’t intend for it to be so tall, but it still works. I was so focused on matching the height of the table surface with the second shelf of the storage rack, that I wasn’t paying attention.
Here are a few of the pictures of the rest of the garage after I filled it up a bit.

Here is an older post on the same topic. You are not alone.
I didn’t intend this shipping station to be so tall.
I just bought an inexpensive item that is coming from Michigan to California First Class Mail.
Guaranteed delivery by 12/19.
Are you kidding me? That is a very unrealistic expectation. I think I’ll be lucky if it gets here before Christmas. To guarantee such a delivery is asking for complaints.
12/13/2020 at 8:35 pm in reply to: Taxes for 2020 – Sales over $20,000 split between Paypal and Managed Payments #84258Since you’ve never declared Ebay as income, I’m assuming you haven’t calculated your legitimate deductions and tax liability.
A $20,000 1099 is far from a profit statement.
You’ll need to deduct shipping costs, Ebay and Paypal fees, Cost of Goods Sold, Shipping and Office supplies, vehicle mileage and lots of others. By the time this is done, you’ll probably be closer to $10,000.
The first time you do this, it’s a lot of work but least you’ll know.
Depending on your other income, you may not owe much if anything.
Good Luck
Capitalism sure does move quickly.
The last copy of this book sold for $400 and there were no more available.
Suddenly a seller showed up with brand new 2020 versions and has multiples for sale at $199 or best offer. I’m sure that price will drop fairly quickly.
I guess I may end up reading mine after all. I think my $14 investment is still fairly safe.
I generally wait until the nest day, before responding to many of these types of messages. It helps me, to leave the situation mentally, before coming up with a response. It also keeps them out of my head.
Long ago, I gave up on figuring out the motivations of these people. I have enough things to do on a daily basis, without making their problems, my problems.
Once I’ve determined, that they are not reasonable people asking reasonable questions, I just ignore them and move on. If they persist, I’ll block them, but this doesn’t happen too often.
