So, a local shipping place was going out of business and they had a professional packing table that sold for over $200! I wanted one, but def not at that price, so look what I whipped up for under $40. Plus, the workbench came with contents, including a bunch of license plates and other misc, that I can sell to pay for the table. Win!
What does your setup look like?

Lauren – you did a really nice job with your set-up!

Seriously, I would be embarrassed to show my messy shipping area. It does get the job done though.

Love all these!
@OldDad I give mine about a week before it’s settled in to the appropriate amount of messy, LOL

These are awesome. At least until my son goes to college I have to pack on my washer and dryer in the garage.

Nice, Joe! What are those table top surfaces you’re using? I have not found anything I like as a backing for all the box cutting I do. (Nice neat garage, too 🙂 I’m envious )

Thanks Temudgin,
The larger table top surface is literally the top of a table I removed the legs from. I cut boxes right on top of it and it has the scars to prove it. It functions pretty well.
The darker smaller surface is from an old desk. The smaller top and a much narrower piece on the other side of the surface can be slid to the sides to reveal shallow storage areas for tape or whatever.
I didn’t intend for it to be so tall, but it still works. I was so focused on matching the height of the table surface with the second shelf of the storage rack, that I wasn’t paying attention.
Here are a few of the pictures of the rest of the garage after I filled it up a bit.

Thanks. I like it tall because I like to stand for packing. Even smalls. And I need a large surface. I’ve got an old dining table with a solid hardwood top but it’s not tall enough so I should try taking the legs off and making something like what you’ve got.
That’s still a neat garage, even full up. Looks great!

That sounds like a great idea with the dining room table.
Post some picks when you are done for us to see.

The building I use for storage is an old restaurant that went out of business and the equipment remov3ed. Here’s my interesting tweak, I use an old rolling A/V cart like we used to see in schools for picking orders. The floor in the main dining room is ceramic tile, so the cart can be clickety-clack noisy when empty, but I’m generally the only one that hears it and it doesn’t bother me.
