Yes it does.. Thank you.
I probably saw that screen and did not read it correctly…
Don’t get old.. first the mind goes.. then the body.. or Visa Versa
Thanks
Hey Fred, I’ve got a friend here in California that’s been buying houses in Indiana for a song. he pays like 30,000 to 45,000 each and has been renting them out. I would love to be able to get a house for that much.
He’s been buying them up in Lafayette, which I know is a distance away.
When I was a Trucker, I had a regular customer in Indiananpolis. It’s cool city. What is St.Louis like for picking.. or even Chicago. You’ve got a lot of options there.
I agree with flagging the bins when they are about 1/2 full. You don’t even really need to check, you just do it when you pull out an item and see the room inside.
I wouldn’t bother consolidating (too much time). But if you really wanted to, you would combine two and keep the same numbers to eliminate the computer work. In other words, if you consolidated A14 with B12, the new bin would be labeled A14/B12. That way you wouldn’t have to do any computer work.
My bins are in a constant level of flux. The ones closest to my packing area remain full the most. It just seems to work out that way.
I reorganized my storage last month, so I was able to find room for it.. but it’s a real mess right now. I’m just going to take it one box at a time.
I’m lucky that there are some duplicates. It should reduce the listing time.
Thanks Jay it will be fun and also give me a forced learning curve.
By the time I’m done I should be much better at listing and photographing clothing..
By the way I also ended up with a huge lot of Bobble heads new in the box of a particular celebrity and a case of new Scooby Doo coffee cups.
It sure would be good stuff to ship off to Amazon… maybe.
Yes $400 sounds like a lot of money to pay for a bunch of old hats… But if you sell just 20 of them for $20 each.. you’ve paid for the bunch.
And it sounds like you’ve done better..
I appreciate the encouragement.
What an interesting post this is.
Regardless of how this started it has turned into an endless rant by the author.
I’m not hear to defend Ebay or tell you that your are wrong. I just have to wonder why you are going on and on about it. Life is way too short to be so unhappy about this type of situation.
In the end. No one is forcing any of us to sell on Ebay. It is a choice.
If you choose to surf the net and find people unhappy with Ebay, the government, the Post Office or a particular religion that is also a choice.
Where do you want to focus your energy WhiteNileVintage?
I think it’s time to “pull off the bandaid” and move on.
I know it’s not fun, but neither are paying taxes walking the dog at midnight or surprise visits from the in laws. We all survive those and you’ll probably survive this.
I truly wish you the best and will admit you’re probably getting screwed on this deal.
Good Luck
If you want to be nice, you can just send them a Paypal refund directly for the amount you think is fair.
Just follow the steps Sharyn outlined above. You can choose the amount.

So Cal Joe.
I called Fedex once to get a quote for Smartpost. They told me there are no standard rates. The rate is whatever was negotiated with Ebay. In essence the only way I could get a quote was to list the item and then see what the calculated charges are.
I don’t think they offer Smartpost, except to select vendors, such as Ebay.
You may want to contact Fedex and see what they say.
Good Luck.

Yes you have to download podcasts to the computer and then Synch with the IPOD.
The nice thing is that you can choose to keep all your podcasts on it to listen to whenever you want. I have my entire CD collection on it and many many podcasts and still have lots of storage left.
I generally go to Itunes on my computer and download the podcast once a week. You can also subscribe and this will happen automatically.
My Ipod is set up to update whenever I plug it into my computer. At that time, it removes the podcasts I’ve already listened to from the Ipod. They remain on my computer. As stated above you can set it up, so they remain on the IPOD if you wish.
The IPOD Classic is probably the best electronic device I’ve ever bought.

Cool… Thanks
I recently bought a Brother laser printer. It’s a variation of the one Ryanne recommends and I couldn’t be happier. It only prints in Black and White, but the toner lasts forever.
My model number is HL-L23800W.
It is wireless, but I don’t have it hooked up that way, so I can’t comment on that aspect of it.
Going to a Laser printer was a home run for me and it only cost $99….
Good Luck
I had a FEDEX Ground Claim back in 2003. There was a clearly visible footprint on top of the box. They went to my buyer to pick up the box and returned it to him upon his request. He got refunded and also got to keep the damaged item. That was fine with me.
I do that with hats and shoes too…. Makes finding things go alot quicker.
