The Transaction rate allowed to keep your Top rated seller status is a very small number. Based on 179 sales, you can’t even have one.

I believe the transaction defect rate is for a year, not 3 months.

My Advice is raise your prices and take more pictures.

Hats are easy to photograph, but you should have at least eight pictures.

Everyone who makes their first big haul gets overwhelmed. Unless storage is an urgent concern, I wouldn’t get too excited about it.

If you think it was a mistake and this isn’t for you, you can always list the cream of the crop and unload the rest..

The answer to your questions have more to do with your business model, than anything else. You made what looks like a great score..

Ok Thanks, that’s great information. The Ebay rep was not very helpful at all.

I was hoping to do the same thing, send the replacement once the return gets scanned. I’m trying to keep the buyer (1) happy, but I get the impression she doesn’t trust Ebay and thinks some type of “Bait and Switch” was done. As a result, I’m going slow.

Buyer 2 has now contacted me and is much more knowledgeable, regarding Ebay. She’s happy to accept whichever pair is available when Buyer 1 is resolved. Buyer 2 has been refunded, so there’s no urgency there.

Update.. Buyer one wants to return the wrong (better) pair of shoes for the correct ones. I instructed her to initiate a return and I would accept.

Per Ebay rep. Accept return.. receive return.. Go to post Office to get return label and send out correct shoes. (Doesn’t sound right to me?)

What happens if you select option to offer customer identical item? Do I still get the original back. The Ebay rep couldn’t answer this question. She couldn’t tell me what happens if I select it.

I gave up with Ebay rep and accepted return. Since return was initiated, how do I show Ebay I sent out correct shoes? or do I have to refund and list shoes again? Thanks.

For us in the states, the weight isn’t so big an issue, if it fits in a Flat Rate envelope or box.

Also for cheaper like items.. bundle bundle bundle. I’d rather sell 4 items together for $30, than 4 separate $10 items.

The Goodwill Outlets are where the bins are. I may not have made it clear. You can Google it. There’s one up in Los Angeles. I’ve never been to that one.

They are the exact same style and exact same size 8.5 AAA, otherwise it wouldn’t have happened. They even look the same in the pictures. I generally make it a point to put items this similar in separate storage containers.

I marked the bag with the damaged ones, but never thought to mark the other ones to remind me there was an identical pair around. If I sold the good ones first, this wouldn’t have happened.

Yes, the SKU tags would prevent all of this.. I’m just not there yet.

I’m not going to worry about the defect.. one defect isn’t a big deal.

There is a Goodwill outlet in Wilmington. There may also be one closer to you, I really don’t know.

I went there a couple of times. I bought a few items. It was a pretty filthy place and everything looked like it has been picked over way too many times.

It’s worth checking out, just to see it for yourself, but It wasn’t for me.

I’m just a little curious, however a no pay no contact buyer gets little sympathy from me.

Tesla is currently building the Gigafactory up in Reno NV, so it’s probably just a matter of time.

With all the success Toyota had had with the Prius, I’m surprised they haven’t offered a Prius Mini Delivery Van with a Plug In option. Something about the size of the Nissan NV200 with a Prius drive train.

Chrysler recently introduced the Pacific with a plug in hybrid option.

I think we are still a few steps away from a full electric.

I generally break up plated flatware sets too (Knife Fork Spoon). People are often looking for replacements and they are much cheaper to ship. The Box I sell separately too.
