Sounds like the Ruby Lane seller has no clue what it is either. I’d say none of the above. Maybe a chicken roaster. Straddle the chicken over the hole. Set it all on a baking pan.

Idahoarder, I have done that, too! I love the satisfaction of seeing everything I accomplished crossed off on a list. Surely that’s a sign of something good! Haha
Ryanne, when I take a package to Fedex and they scan it the tracking number is on ebay’s site before I get back home. What’s with the USPS?
I think you only have a few days legally to cancel the sale. Don’t let them stall you to get pst that deadline. Talk to an attorney or at least Google it!
My husband and I have been watching an old PBS series, Bleak House. Love it! (From Charles Dicken’s “dark phase”.)

Jay, I totally get the list thing. It’s the only way I can imagine keeping my life on track and organized. Every morning starts with a cup of coffee, my calendar/organizer with my To Do List, and prayer time. If I miss that time I find myself distracted and/or anxious during the day. The best thing about lists is that they help you PRIORITIZE. The most important thing is to do the most important thing first. The way to identify that is to think, What will I be happiest tomorrow knowing that I got it done today? If you just write down the top 3 most important items, then do them in order of importance, you will accomplish more than most people.
The month of July I neglected Ebay for the most part, other than removing a ton of my listings that I was sick of looking at and selling them in the auction we had. My husband and I spent a lot of time helping to get my son’s (inherited) house on the market, including opening the pool, etc. it was great having an auctioneer friend to give me a no-charge auction in exchange for giving them plenty of space to sell some of their own things. It worked out well, the house is under contract now, and I’m glad. All we have to do is maintain the pool and sprinklers until it closes. Taking a week off to visit a friend’s house in Florida was nice. As you guys said, getting away from Ebay for a while makes it feel good when you get back to it. I reorganized a lot, including my store categories and storage. Feels like a brand new store!
Looks handwoven to me.
It looks like a needlepoint picture. Petite point is extremely tiny stitches, which this doesn’t appear to be unless it is only a few inches in size. The picture on the back that you see is probably just the stamped pattern. I would just call it a Gilt Framed Needlepoint Picture of Woman until you identify the era or nationality of the figure.

I’m so sorry for the devastation that you’re going through. I also understand how amazing it is to see people helping people and situations like that . Our town has had a devastating flood for two years in a row and it has really brought our town together then and many times before. I’m always amazed at the courageous victims of the flood and how they bounce back. Best wishes to you both and to your eBay business.

There are the motivated employees with a work ethic, and then there are the bottom sucking cream puffs who whine and cause “office politics.” If the latter ever had to survive on the fruits of their own business they would starve to death.
07/20/2017 at 12:23 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 319: Being Adults, Making Decisions #20541Just getting time to listen to the podcast–I miss it so much when there isn’t time! Love hearing about your busy, productive, crazy scavenger lives. I recently sold a vintage swim cap for $50. It had flowers all over it. It went to an apartment in NY City. I should have asked more! 😊 Good job!

Right now I’m visiting a friend in Florida and it’s cooler than St. Louis! 😊 It’s good to take a break now and then and go home refreshed.

And the fireflies are the best fireworks ever. Do you realize how few places even have fireflies? They seem to be almost all in the eastern half of the US. Many people have never even seen one.
This feels like a Monday, with the Fourth of July (my birthday and my granddaughter’s) behind us. I just finished a busy 2 weeks of removing a lot of my old ebay inventory and taking it out to a house my son inherited to sell. I also had some other things to get done in the house, so ebay has been sadly neglected. (My son lives out of the country, so I’m it.) there was also some furniture and electronics left behind. Friends who do home auction cleanouts did a free auction for me Monday, and I gave them half of the house to sell their own things. Worked out great. It would be painful to see things selling so cheaply if it weren’t for the fact that I was sick of looking at them and need the storage space to list fresh produce. I still won’t get back to listing for at least a week because I will now inventory every item first. Total revamp! That will be auch a relief. Just need to go back out and vacuum the house and get the pool opened and the house will be market ready. Will be relieved when it sells, too. Son is using a realtor from here on out. A good incentive to redo the ebay store.
