Please stop listening to the lamestream media. I have heard him sa exactly what his defnite policies are, and they are the exact opposite of what you said for the most part. Please go to his webste and read for yourself. Then uou can relax and look forward to good things like the rest of us. 🙂

I actually prefer talking directly to a customer when there is a complicated issue, as it is easier to communicate what you want to say. And it reassures the customer that you are just a regular person who is concerned about their welfare. Like last week I called a woman who was having a hard time figuring out how to buy multiple spoons. So I just called her to straighten it out, and we had the best time talking and laughing. It was super! She even bought several more items from me than she had planned–$200 in all. A phone call is a BIG opportunity!
J&R, is there a chance you could fix ir so that after I submit a comment I am returned to where I was instead of being zapped back ip to the top of the page?

12/05/2016 at 3:02 pm in reply to: Ebay Shipping Information, Statistics and New Freight Program #7217Mike, the only problem I have with including “Free Shipping” is this: what happens to your bottom line when the customer complains they want to return as not described? Then you paid shipping both ways for zero income. Totally unacceptable for me.

12/03/2016 at 10:54 pm in reply to: What Sells On eBay: Inaugural invite, trigger finger mittens, back saw, expanding file #7122I’ve been very happy ever since Thanksgiving, like someone turned the spigot on after a very long dry spell. I’ve been having constant sales, so maybe that helps. Only listing 30-40 items per week.
I had already cut the cord to my “real job” before seriously starting Ebay. I find it difficult to bring in more than 2-3K per month, even though I can spend as much time as I want to, probably because I just list what I like to list. And I make Ebay a secondary priority, after homemaking and other commitments. I would caution against giving up a job you need until you have a wise plan like many of you already do. That said, it sure beats working a job that you hate. That is no way to live, dreading every Mon-Fri and living for fleeting weekends and holidays. In that case, if you can pay the bills and live w/o the benefits, it might be worth taking the plunge. Pray for guidance!
Who cares what rhe rules are. Give whateverthehell you want to give. I love giving $50 gift cards to restaurants or movie threatre. Costco is great–you can get $50 gift cards for essentially $40. Also Culver’s burger places have a special on gift cards each Christmas season, as do many other venues.

I was listing hats today including a Kangol cabbie hat for summer. Love those church sales. I also have sold several old Presidential invites, menus and such to the post-inagural celebrations, etc. bought a bunch of them from an estate sale. Seems like they were mostly Nixon. Made some nice money from them.
