You can always change their SmartPost to Priority. Then send the buyer a note telling them you upgraded their shipping at no extra cost. They will be thrilled!
It seems to be just my store. I haven’t heard of anyone else whose store categories are all jumbled up. My sales are very slow right now, maybe because they are “working” on the problem. I don’t want to start a sale while it’s in process either. Waiting…

My husband used to spend $400/month at Starbucks. Now he Likes Kirkland Keurig cups, at around 35 cents each, better!

So today Tanya, the Supervisor, did call me back with an update. She said my store has a coding problem and they are still working on fixing it. I told her that now I am also not receiving any email confirmations when I list a new item. So add that to the list. At least she called back. 😕
Thank you for the kind words. But Low and behold, right after I posted this I actually got a call back from a lovely supervisor who finally comprehended the scope of the problem! After walking her through everything she realized that my sales were each a random jumble of the wrong items, at the wrong percentages, and not even including the items that should be included. Trying to resort things under the correct categories would have been futile. I have her name and the call reference number so I can contact her if she would fail to call me back by Wednesday. Meantime, my store is finally off to the IT Department, which is what I asked from the beginning. Yay! I hope THEY comprehend the problems and FIX IT. If so I may keep up this little store of mine, which is now at 1200 items. PS. I suspect this all has something to do with “broken links”, although I have no idea what that means.

01/16/2018 at 10:42 am in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 343: Our Business = Little Things Every Day #30556I live in Eureka Mo. it was zero this morning. But the first peek of sunshine in days. A friend in St. charles had to spend 4 days at a hotel due to a flooded basement from frozen pipes. Always turn off the water lines to the outside spigots and remove the hoses in the fall!

There’s a guy like that who receives the donations at the local Savers. A young guy always scowling and sourfaced. I delight in smiling great big at him and saying Hi there! There’s my favorite cheerful helper! Let’s see that big smile of yours! Then he actually smiles at me—it’s hysterical! Hahaha

I’d say that would be 99 cents well spent. We love it! I’d love some feedback from anyone making my Asian Corn Chicken soup. I’m making it again myself this week.
01/11/2018 at 9:28 am in reply to: Pick my Poison! (Poll for choosing what dreaded death pile items to work) #30302I agree with the coats and jackets first. Mostly because IT’S COLD OUTSIDE RIGHT NOW. Personally when deciding which items to list first from the death piles I prefer the method of selecting the largest items first because it clears more space in the death piles. I take photos of that whole category, then carry it all to my office and make it my week’s goal to make that pile disappear. It becomes very motivating to empty out the office so it looks like a room again.
Mike, that is hysterical. And sad. Yes, America has been incredibly dumbed down. I won’t comment further. But I totally get it. No point in trying to reason with anyone so far gone. 😜
