I suspect our new president will take a dim view of any such tax law. A president with business experience and a determination to get businesses rolling again can make a difference with veto power. Some states already have laws like that I think. Missouri already requires tax to be paid on Amazon purchases within the state, so Amazon retaliated by not allowing any Missouri residents to get paid for internet clicks from their website, such as Jay And Ryanne do. (I forget the word for that.)
Jay and Ryanne, I have noticed that when someone attaches a photo like this it throws off the formatting on the “firehose” updates. It makes the print so tiny it would take a microscope to read it! Any solution?
That’s my favorite kind of rug. It is also my cat’s favorite. She loves to sharpen her claws on those nice loops. Has destroyed every one of them. Now I can only get Persian type rugs. She can’t seem to pull anything out of those.

So if those two won’t pay Shipsaver is not going to pay either. So don’t count on getting reimbursed on anything sent via Smartpost. Fedex does give free insurance up to $100, but you can’t count on that with Smartpost because Fedex will blame the USPS and USPS will blame Fedex.

12/15/2016 at 8:17 am in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 288: The War Of Attrition Will Not Grind Us Down #8147Eve, since Yellen did a .25% increase yesterday, plus promised 3 more in the near future, I think things are going to start heading back to normal. Soon people will be screaming about inflation, but some inflation is a good thing especially for investors. Earlier in the day we were in a run to 20K in the stock market, but she put a screeching halt to that and it fell back 200 points. I believe we have been in a depression for years–gov’t stats are lies, built on false info such as not including food or gas in the figures, or true unemployment numbers.

You cannsure tell it’s cold when the snow crunches like that. St. louis is getting down to 2 degrees by Sunday night. Speaking of freezing, so are my sales this week. I don’t get it.

(I am in St. LOuis) If you want to ship something expensive play it safe and ship it Priority or Fedex Home rather than Smartpost.

But didn’t you lose money on the shipping–that had to be a large heavy box. I hope you didn’t have to ship it far. I find my platters don’t sell well because the shipping is so expensive.

I am subscribed to some of the comments, but I thought someone said there was a way to subscribe to ALL of the comments, across all of the topics/forums. I’m not even certain how to search for how to do that; it doesn’t seem to work by subscribing to a particular topic.

Also I can’t put my photo in place of the green pixel icon. My husband said there are broken hyperlinks when he tries to do it. Is anyone else having that problem? Mike explained it so nicely how to do it, but it just doesn’t work.

12/07/2016 at 9:53 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 287: How Is the Holiday Selling Season for You? #7579Trust me, Jen, you are NOT alone. Not only do I get sucked into Pinterest, but I am an official YouTube Addict. I actually sat down one night at the computer and clicked on a funny cat video, and then the next one and the next, and next thing I knew the sun was coming up–truly!!! I know every “conspiracy theory” (enough to know that many have at least some truth, and many are much more truthful than the “fake news” of the MSM), and now consider myself to be a graduate of “YouTube U”, feeling that everything I know I learned on YouTube, from how to sell on Ebay to knowing that “Aliens” bore me. I go to sleep listening to something YouTube on my under-pillow speaker (wow; that really puts you to sleep fast; it’s so relaxing!), and when I awake at 2:00 am as I did last night I just select another video/podcast and fall right back to sleep. I think the MOST revolutionary thing of our century is the ability of ANYONE to have a voice on YouTube. (Pause and think of that–Selah.) We don’t all have to be indoctrinated/dumbed down by the lamestream media anymore! We can actually diligently research the truth for ourselves. Yay!
