Such happy dogs! You can tell theybare well loved. Your cat looks so much like my Callie who is 14 years old and still beautiful.
I finally got the Imgur app but can’t figure out how to put my Solds on it and post here. Any advice?
05/29/2017 at 10:09 am in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 312: Is eBay Removing Old listings? #18713I had kind of a funny scammer customer this week. She bought a Victoria’s Secret teddy/gown that I sold for only $10 because I found a small hole in back after washing it. (I wash some things like gowns and swim suits–just seems icky not to.) She asked me to ship it fast because she was leaving on vacay Friday. So I got it there by Wed. Then she emailed me thru ebay saying “I washed it and the straps broke and now it’s worthless!” It always tips me off to a scam when someone 1. Is rude and 2. Bought something really cheap. So I immediately wrote back, “That’s horrible! SO sorry! Please send a photo for immediate refund “. She wrote back, “sorry, it’s on the way to the landfill. No can do photos.”
I resisted the urge to reply, “sorry, no can do refund.” Instead I toyed with her and said,”Wow, I checked tracking and it says your post office just got it this morning, and you’ve already laundered it and the trash collector already picked it up.” She replied that her husband took their trash to a dumpster. Then I said,”i’ve never heard of both straps breaking at the same time. They didn’t do that when I washed it.”
She never did open a case and of course I never sent her any money. If she gives me bad FB I presume I can get it removed because she never sent a photo. I did however block her and reported her as a scammer to ebay.
If the buyer doesn’t return it thru ebay I don’t get reimbursed for my fees. Now that I have it already that can’t happen. Luckily it’s an inexpensive item. I think I’ll wait for her to contact me just to see if she does.
Someone returned a blouse to me without notifying me, or even putting a note in the package. I just found it in the mail. I’m wondering what to do. Don’t really want to contact her with no plan.
Habnab, now that I have seen what Sobral looks like I think I have a piece of it, but it is a pendant on a gold chain and isn’t signed. Could it be Sobral???
And PS, here is a great find of jewelry. My husband found the article:

Oddly enough my low point was last week with few sales only amounting to the mid $300’s, while this week I sold my typical amout of sales totaling in the mid 800’s–mostly thanks to an unexpected $300 sale of some dishes I purchased for around $25. So glad to have a decent week since this is the time of year that I have piles of inventory. I have been listing a lot more. I am about maxed out on storage with nearly 1400 listings, and many to go! Don’t know where it will all go. Guess I will take the time to try Paul’s selling strategy. But I’ve enjoyed listing all the new inventory. I sort it into piles by type and each one is kind of like Christmas. 😊
Do they have a front fly/zipper opening? That would tell you whether they are mens or womens.
ChristineR, on one hand we are told to do that, and to put the words in the order that someone would type them out, but then I read that ebay says we should have the most important words in the first 3 or 4 words, which is quite different! Now I am quite confused about it all. Does anyone know for sure??? inwas never confused about this before but now there is so much conflicting advice.
lostworldpaper Came up as not found. Can you check that name?
No offence, but your prices look high to me. Do you research prices? Try to price towards the lower end rather than at the top? I would do a sale of 20-25% on the store and clear it out, then start with more high end inventory. Just my opinion. In real estate they say the only thing that keeps a house from selling is the price. For long tail high priced items items they need to be very unusual/rare to het high end prices. Compare your items to the SOLD items prices

I may have a ring or two like that in a pile of junk jewelry if I didn’t already sell it in a junk lot. It just drew my eye–the colors are amazing. I looked for your store under habnab but that apparently isn’t your store name?

I bought a bunch of them at a church sale for 25 cents each but have no clue how to evaluate them. They don’t look too exciting.
