Nov 27th, delivered yesterday. Priority mail.
How funny you should post this, I was just about to note it as well. I got a duplicate charge and an up-charge from 20 dollars for a box to $102(!!). I’m not thrilled but am probably going to wait until after Xmas to save my blood pressure over the holiday. Did Ebay correct the charges for you?
While I do agree “don’t feed the trolls”, when someone is attempting to harass me even after I block them and the messages get through, I too call ebay and insist on them blocking the person completely. I’m trying to run a business and don’t need 10 notifications on my phone from someone with emotional problems. Although ebay is notorious for “different answers from different people”, I have been told by a couple people over there that when someone sends a bunch of harassing messages on ebay and it is called in and reported by the recipient, they do temporarily suspend the harassers account and if they do it again they are banned permanently.
I’m mostly USPS, and they are running behind, although not as badly as earlier this year. Fedex I have had no problems with and they run smoothly. If USPS continues to have problems I will likely rely on Fedex for anything bigger than a pound.
I had one of these too. Mailed before thanksgiving, stalled in my city for 2 weeks before moving again to its destination.
I didn’t call but sent a report about it to ebay. I could have called them and ensured the sale happened I suppose but for some reason I was not motivated to do it. My guess is the buyer wouldn’t pay for postage on this item although maybe ebay would have kicked in and paid me for it.
The vitamin D thing is a covid craze thing. There is a theory it helps prevent covid. It is not entirely without merit, but the evidence is scant.
I just had this happen. A guy from Hawaii bought a briefcase for $19 plus free shipping (!). Had to cancel it. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong after sifting through the listing multiple times. i relisted with a flat shipping rate to be sure it wouldn’t happen again.
CPAP components/parts.
Thanks Sharyn for the information. I know the buyer is new because they only have 2 feedback and I looked and saw on their account it was created recently. My guess is that either they entered their address wrong, they are dead, or in jail! 🙂
I have heard of this for people who buy typewriters. I am not sure if it amounts to a conspiracy, but if there are only a few people bidding on something very specific, I guess it could happen.
Welome, fellow Norcal folks 🙂

I run into those or components of them a lot. CD players are mostly a bust for me. So many stereos and audio equipment out my way, I am spoiled.
I’ve had the negative feedback from a cancellation on buyer request happen a few times. Always removed by ebay. I just remind them there is no transaction since they cancelled.
Jackfruit is a pretty interesting — supposedly in parts of asia where it grows wild, in times of famine people can eat jackfruit and essentially live off of it entirely for weeks because its nutrition is so diverse. When I was vegetarian I did a lot of tofu, seitan, etc. I find the brand really counts, bad meat alternatives can be really bad, good ones really good. If you come to the Bay area, you’ll find some incredible options everywhere.
