Hi Mike,
I hate situations like that. What I end up doing is searching for other items like mine, and picking the category where most of the solds seem to be for that type of item. For example, I sell painted needlepoint canvases sometimes – the ones that are made out of linen or other fabric. Well there is no category for these canvases that don’t come in a kit, but I found all the other ones like it in the “Plastic canvas” category, so that’s where i put mine. It annoys me every time I do it, but I think it’s better to put it together with its “friends” than putting it alone in “Other”, even if that’s more correct.I think my goodwill does something similar. Often I will see a different colored price sticker underneath to top one.
At least you still have 1/2 off colors. Ours changed this year to 40% off. So jealous of the areas that have $1 days, like LA.
same to you, T2T!
Maybe it belonged to Liberace?
😉But yes, I agree – doesn’t seem quite right.
money clip that you can put on your belt?
I would
a) post a reply to the feedback so that other buyers can read your side of the story – just keep it professional.

b) report the buyer

You should only report a buyer if you think they’re violating our policies. Here are a few examples of when to report a buyer:[…]

If the USPS envelope rate is indeed 2.71, why not just purchase direct from USPS either at the post office or their web site (not sure if you can purchase international shipping online)? That way you won’t be out all that money.
With only 100 items in your store, going a week with no sales once in a while is not unheard of, so I wouldn’t worry about that too much – just keep listing.
The thing about the difference between ipad and web versions of ebay is a little troubling, but I can offer no insight on that. I use the website and never got any warnings for missing items specifics even though I know I have plenty that are missing. I just went into the bulk editor, and it reported 11 items with issues – but I’m sure there are more. Guess I’ll fix those 11 now.
actually, probably not to do with a car, but something with power, given the word “generator”. Probably gives you status of a generator.

I would try to figure out the brand name and model number and list that way.
Without more views on what it looks like from other angles (ie, are there cords attached, how thick is this thing, what’s on the back), my best guess is that it looks like something that you would somehow plug into a car’s computer to find out what’s wrong, if anything, with the car – what sensors have fired.
But I’m no expert.I’m guessing there weren’t any instruction in the pocket? 😉
welcome!
ebay now puts the number of searches that used/accessed an item specific right above it, so I try to fill in at least all of these popular ones. There aren’t that many of them typically.
It sounds like an alternative to USPS International, not an alternative to GSP.
When do I use eBay Send?
If you ship to international buyers directly (not using eBay’s Global Shipping Program), you can select the eBay Send option as an economical choice to deliver your product. You can take the package to any USPS drop off location, or arrange a regular USPS package pickup. Tracking will be automatically uploaded on eBay and tracked to the final destination.11/14/2019 at 5:25 pm in reply to: Anyone know who this is?? He’s depicted on a bunch of paper weights.. #70663same here – can’t see the photo.
