I am reluctant to open the frame because the item is so tightly in there it would take some doing and I might just cause too much damage.
However, in the meantime, someone I know who is a musician suggested that the lady on the left might be Nancy Wilson. So it is a toss up between Nancy Wilson or Ronnie Spector at this point for the lady on the left. But the lady on the right might just be another Ronnette… the mystery continues.
You guys are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much. I am going to look up all your suggestions and see what I find. And I will if there is anything on the back. Stay tuned!
OMG! I guess that is one way to get attention (c:
Thanks Jay, I would not know but I am hoping someone here does!
It’s crazy! IHOP is a household name — can’t imagine what their marketing department is thinking. IHOB (perhaps for burgers from what I read) is weird.
Marjean Have you tried to resolve this via Ebay on facebook? Someone here suggested that that is a good option when you cannot get things worked out by phone. I am trying it now on an issue but I don’t have a end result to report yet.
06/07/2018 at 2:53 pm in reply to: Best "Make Best Offer" Strategy on eBay as a vendor/seller #41916I personally don’t enjoy the make offer feature for all the reasons mentioned above. It hooks my attention, makes me doubt my pricing when I get low ball offers (which is the usual) and in the end results in no sale. Rarely do I get a reasonable offer and rarely a reply, unless it is a decline.
It is my opinion that some people do shotgun low ball offers just to see what deals they can snag. I know someone here on the form said that they personally do that — not judging, just reporting.
For my store, I don’t offer the make offer option except in some cases where I am willing to receive an offer. Alternatively I prefer to put items on sale or use the promotion feature to create sales.
COOL TIP: Someone here on the forum suggested that if you get an offer by email you can put the item on sale for the buyer. In this way others see the price drop as well and the buyer may feel more pressed to act if they really want the item. This week I had a buyer ask for a best price on an item via the email system. I put the item on sale for 6% off for 24 hours, notified the buyer, and left the ball in his court. He was happy with the discount and purchased the item.
Thank you for all the help and encouragement (c:
By the way, I forgot to mention: I got these tiles and another exact same set of 4 (8 total) for free at a yard sale. They were in the “free” pile.
Thanks AdventureE!! I did not change the pictures because I reshot them but the new ones were no better than the old ones. I figured out that my phone is just not good enough for ebay pix so I plan to upgrade my phone because you are completely correct, the pictures matter.
Thank you for all the help from everyone: One set of tiles just sold! https://www.ebay.com/itm/162813201632?ViewItem=&item=162813201632
Now I gotta go pack’em! Oy!
I completely agree, AdventureE, I had a terrible time with those photos and it was really frustrating. I should give it another shot with better lighting or go outside with them.
Jay, I appreciate your input as always.
Hey Jay, thanks for your help. I am always hoping to sell quick, that is a given — but I am completely willing to list and forget. However, my inexperience or lack of confidence makes it so that I revisit items once in a while to see if I was off the charts or on track. These tiles were listed when I first started several months ago so it seemed to me a good idea just to check on them after being reminded that I even had them by Ryanne’s comment. In this case it seems that I was completely off the charts on my listings! I fixed the listings and hopefully that will help.
Yes, sq ft would be great if I could figure out how to correctly figure it out. I get confused by the math so I left it out. I think that 100 pieces of 3×3 is 6.25 sq ft. Is that right?
Yes, I see that I was pie in the sky pricing and I am editing the prices now.
