If you had shipped it Fedex Home Delivery it would have probably cost less than Priority OR Parcel Post. You could have insured it for .79 on Shipsaver.
Advertize on the internet for someone to sleep in your home every night? What could possibly go wrong with that? I would definitely require a separate entrance/room.
Or you could show up at the door with your Smith and Wesson .38. That usually discourages them. But I’m from Missouri.

I am guilty; I often order from Amazon while standing in a store where ia can’t find what I’m looking for–or a clerk to help me.
It looks like batique cotton. If it looks the same on both sides and is a tight weave cotton.

I agree with Ryanne. Waste of time. List if you want to sell. You’ll see.
Carrie, I just called ebay to ask about an issue where a customer emailed me to explain that she accidentally gave me 3 stars FB for shipping and she didn’t know how to change it to 5 stars. The Rep. told me they can’t change a positive FB (3 was still positive), but that it doesn’t matter anyway. He said Feedback is no longer a consideration on your Cassini rankings each month–only cancelled sales by the seller, unresolved open cases by the seller, and delayed shipping past what your shipping is stated to be in your policies. That’s it! Yay!
By the way, if you can’t get the kid to change his neg FB, did you know that you can at least reply to it on your FB page for anyone to see?
The poor dog is probably suffering from shock, as in”What the hell is this white COLD stuff?!!!” He need a security blanket and some psychotherapy. ?

Carrie, don’t feel bad. We’ve all been there. It hurts your feelings much more than it hurts your business. You are dealing with an immature narcisstic child with no concept of empathy. Someday he may grow up. As far as calling him, I would do that. I have called customers from time to time and it has always turned out remarkably well. Just tell him you want to know how you can make it right for him. That might give him some perspective that you are a real person that he has hurt. If that’s too scary just block him and move on. Don’t let the turkeys get you down.

That sounds like a good way to handle it. Wouldn’t you think Ebay would make it much easier to do the whole workflow? Maybe someday.
Awesome week for Jay and Ryanne–I like selling that much in a whole month! Those woodworking tools will sell like hotcakes. I hoped for a minute that Ryanne was buying the Japanese pottery for herself, but no of course not! And I love the lobster (crab) art.
I have had increasingly good weeks as long as I am home enough to list. This week’s top seller was a pair of gorgeous old majolica wall sconces that I picked up from a flea market for $8 last summer. I listed them for $250 and forgot about them until they sold this week. Also sold a duvet for $100 to someone in Hawaii with calculated shipping which came to $54. But the shipping they selected was Fedex ground–which can’t happen to Hawaii, so it wouldn’t let me print out the label. So I was surprised to find it actually fit into a medium flat rate box to Hawaii for only $12.50! Shall I send an email letting them know I have upgraded them to Priority? Yikes! I also sold a little rabbit figure that was listed 5 years ago and now I can’t find it, after all that. I found another one on ebay and bought it ($5 more than mine) and the seller is shipping it to my customer and will send me the tracking number. Wow, that was close. Now where did that rabbit hide?
