I don’t know if anyone mentioned this while my kids were going crazy during the podcast, but now when I list using the app, the “make offer” listings I’m putting up are defaulting to auto-decline offers under a certain amount. I list on my computer and then take photos and post using my phone. I usually just scroll to the bottom and list it, so I didn’t notice this until I’d listed several items. If I have something listed for $200, for example, it will show something like “accept best offers of $100 or higher.” So I guess I have to go in and manually change this on every best offer listing I put up? It doesn’t take long, but I worry that I’ll forget to change it and I like to see every offer. Anyone know how to turn this off? And I did decline the easy pricing option, so that’s not the problem.

Money spent on new inventory this week: $46.03Another great week for me, and yesterday was an amazing start to this week! I have a couple of kind of big returns coming, but they were for size, so oh well. I’ll just sell them again.
I sell a lot of hats, and I came across a sale this weekend with tons of them. I bought a bunch, and there are 3 that I know I can sell for $100+ (and I got them for 25 cents each). I listed them super high, so now I’m just waiting for the right offer. Love those profit margins!
Hey, I just made a $60 sale while writing this. Better get to work!
Well, the first item I called about was a set of casters/furniture wheels. I had them listed under furniture so I changed them to another category (collectibles, I think), and it still didn’t work. The rep said there were no exclusions that should cause it.
Oh no! Hope you can get that fixed!
I just checked and it shows that I have 80 items without global shipping enabled, and it looks like about half of those are fragrances or other things that might have been kicked out due to being (or sounding) flammable. So I get it on those, but the rest are just an assortment of random things. If you have thoughts as to how to fix those, I’d appreciate any and all input!
Hmmm. Interesting. It sounds like this isn’t so uncommon after all. I’ve never set up business policies, so that’s not the problem for me. And I am still selling things through global shipping. This just seems to happen on certain random items. Here’s the link to the item I’m talking about it anyone cares to see what it looks like on their end. I’ll look and see how many are “enabled.” Thanks for all the input!
I agree that a flea market TV show could be hilarious. That’s part of what I love about yard sales/auctions too. Every year when we have our own yard sale, we love talking to all the funny and interesting characters who show up. We have some great stories!
Congratulations! That’s exciting! I hadn’t checked my lifetime sales in a while, so you in inspired me to look. I’m about $1000 away! Should be there very soon!

Money spent on new inventory this week: $0.41 (I’m a big spender)Wow, what a great week! Last week was the best I’ve had in a long time for sales, and I also got tons of listing done. And this week has started out great as well, so I’m hoping it continues.
But here’s the REALLY exciting stuff! I finally stumbled on a big treasure like I’ve always dreamed of! I was listing a big tote of accessories the other day and pulled out a belt to list. I didn’t realize it when I bought it, but it was a money belt, so I thought I’d better unzip it just in case. There was cash inside, folded up tiny, and at first I thought it was a couple of tens and I was thrilled to find $20. But as I kept unzipping, there were more bills, and they weren’t tens …they were hundreds! I kid you not, there was $1000 cash zipped up in that money belt! Woo Hoo! I still can’t believe it. And thankfully, I don’t remember where I got it, so it’s totally guilt free!
I haven’t had a chance to listen yet, but it will keep me company tomorrow while I work.
Oh bummer!
Yeah, no kidding. Glad you were able to use it!
A few faves from last week:
Antique Bird Pin Cushion – I picked this up for 50 cents, thinking it would be a cute gift for my mom who is a quilter. But then I looked up and poor Mom lost to eBay. It sold for $125.00!
https://www.ebay.com/itm/332652667992Cassette Tapes – I got these for under $1 at a yard sale and they sold right away to a blank tape reseller for $49.99. Guess they were underpriced!
https://www.ebay.com/itm/332776076565Disneyland Tea Cup and Saucer – I usually NEVER buy things like tea cups (not all all my thing), but this was from Disneyland and only $3, so I bought it. Sold for $49.99.

Money spent on new inventory this week: $21.10Well, the kids are back in school and I’m hoping to finally get back on some sort of schedule and get some work done. As much as I hate to see summer go, I’m ready for fall. Today it is cool and rainy here. It’s a nice departure from weeks of 100+ degrees and air thick with smoke from wildfires. Hooray for fresh air! And the transition into fall seems to have sales picking up for me too! I’ve been selling a lot more in the last couple of weeks and I’m listing like crazy. Looking forward to more!
Hope you’re feeling better soon, Ryanne!
Oh, you’re right! I just looked up Golden Books, and it looks like he’s from “Kitten Tales.” Thank you!
