I sold the beer tower for $49 and the tap for $30 to different buyers. I entered the weight of the beer tower incorrectly, so I lost about $8 on it, but still a good sale.

I never pass up on old retro glasses as long as they’re not junk. These Sure-Guard safety glasses came from an estate sale and cost me a couple bucks. They were in almost perfect condition. I priced them high and was surprised when I sold them for full price of $50.

There wasn’t much that I was interested in, but I did manage to get some pottery pieces for relatively cheap. I got this little jar with lid for $2.50. I listed it a while ago and forgot about it. Finally sold for $35. I kind of regret selling it now cause I really liked the piece. But oh well.
Hand-Thrown Pottery JarThis is my big sale from last week. I acquired a big box full of drafting and drawing tools and such at an auction for $20. There were a lot of sellable items in it, so each piece came to .60 cents. I knew nothing about this kind of stuff, so it required a lot of research. These K&E lettering pen tips go into specially designed pens. I didn’t have a lot of comps to go by, so I priced them way higher than I expected to sell them for. I ended up taking a best offer of $65.

While there weren’t very many comps, and the ones that did come up were lower than I expected, I still thought it was unique and desirable enough to be worth more. So I priced it high and it sold within a couple months for $60.

The Surveyors Tripod is interesting since we know many online sellers pass up those longish, kind of heavy/bulky, and difficult to photograph items. About two months ago I picked up four older wooden long bows. I passed them up the first time around when they were priced a firm $10 a piece. The following week they still sat on the venders table, so I low balled at $12 for all and he sold. They sat in my garage awhile until I too got tired of moving them around. Research, photographing and listing was a pain yet I knew some money was to be made.
I sold them last week for a best offer of $189.80 plus shipping to a buyer right here in Florida. The longest was 72 inches so I had to make a box out of three boxes. In the end, glad I picked them up. -

Antique Bird Pin Cushion – I picked this up for 50 cents, thinking it would be a cute gift for my mom who is a quilter. But then I looked up and poor Mom lost to eBay. It sold for $125.00!
