That was a really cool Zenith clock radio model I have not seen before, they’re usually flip number, probably old grease gumming up the rolling numbers
I noticed something a little different today; I normally offer parcel select as the first option because it looks cheaper for the customer but I will then ship Priority as its cheaper for me than Parcel, today Priority was a few cents more than Parcel. Not sure if its related but wondering if anyone else has notice this.
I received my first negative fb in 5 years, ‘Item was damaged during shipping. It’s not replaceable and was very expensive.’, they made no contact, no request to return.
I’m thinking of responding with, ‘So glad you liked it, thank you so much’, as I think anyone who reads feedback will come away with a positive about the buyer rather than reading some explanation or negative comment left in response.
The first time I remember seeing a Chemex coffee maker was while re-watching the Mary Tyler Moore Show a couple of years ago, she used one all the time but strangely most often late at night after a date.
I’ve wanted one ever since but have been waiting to find one in the wild, so far no luck. I have a small 2 cup pour over that suffices for now.
I too was confused by coffee cup measurements the first time I sold one. Glad you sussed it out.
Place a slightly larger piece of plain paper over the printed side of the poster and roll it up, it will protect the printed side and the rolled ends.
I’ve used the triangle boxes but I usually scavenge cardboard tubes from recycling bins and cut them to size with a hand saw and plug the ends with styrofoam before taping over them.
I also slip sheet them before rolling, and when using the tri boxes I’ll put them in a plastic garbage bag for moisture protection.
I used to work very hard at this when I first began as well, I also had just quit a good paying job as a trucker so I was driven by both a desire to succeed and the need to make enough to live on while paying out some hefty child support.
After getting my store up to 900+ items and experiencing a number of good years, like you DT, I’ve mellowed and learned to work smarter and am able to work much less. My day may start early but work usually begins about 9:00 as coffee, reading and hiking are the first activities of my day. I pack and ship then usually list until lunch, after that, I sometimes work on things (stereo repair etc.) but nothing scheduled, at 62 I’ve come to appreciate the joy of an afternoon nap.
I had been using on line auctions quite a bit during 2020 but I’m now looking towards the future and slowly getting to the large backlog of unlisted items in my storage.
I hope to make it to 70 years old before taking SS and then supplementing that with the occasional ebay sale. I also aspire to travel the world staying in Airbnbs for months at a time so I can really experience the culture, I originally thought of settling in central Mexico but then thought, why limit myself, there’s plenty of cheap destinations with fully furnished accommodations.
But that’s still a ways off, I enjoy living single, but things can and will change.
I’ve found the track indicator bulbs are usually not burned out but the contact wheel that energizes them needs some deoxit spray to clean them up.
Sounds good, I plan on visiting my new granddaughter as soon as we’re vaccinated.
My son just bought a house in Arvada, 6000 block of 75th Ave.
They spent the better part of the year being outbid on above asking prices, great sellers market.

Come on now, what is a chili dog? Meat and bread, who hasn’t had eggs & sausages with toast along with their morning coffee haha. Just different spices.
You could have the whole market for the chili dog coffee consumers in the tri-state area.
