I bought a new item (which turned out to be defective) from a high volume seller a while back.
Initially, I would have been willing to accept a partial refund, as I knew I could salvage the item and modify it for my use.
The seller played so many games to avoid paying any refund, that by the time he offered a partial refund, I refused and requested a return shipping label.
In the end the seller refunded me 100% and told me to keep the defective item.
Basically you print the label and pay to ship it to Kentucky.. That’s it.
It far easier than I ever expected and I’ve had almost no issues..
Good Luck.
You actually have to create a policy for each shipping method, such as USPS First Class, Priority mail and FEDEX Ground etc. Once the policies are created, you can adjust the handling time on each as often as you wish.
Ideally, you’ll end up with between five and ten different shipping policies.
Good Luck.
I’m going early.. they will sell out for sure.
Cool… Thanks
Bummer, I am going to town today and was going to stock up.
Is the sale price advertised anywhere.. ?
Thanks again.
The totes are still showing full price on the website.. Any idea why.
Home Depot has them for $9.98.
Thanks
Hi Mike,
In generally I search for (36 rolls) 2,0 mil 110 yards 2 inch shipping tape. I used to get it for $26 to $29 a box. Once I even scored a box of brown tape for $22. Now it’s almost always at least $30+ a box. Those prices included free shipping.
In reality 2 inches is often 1.9 inches and 2.0 mil is often 1.8 or 1.9 I use tape liberally when shipping, so quantity is more important to me than quality.
I generally I buy clear tape, but keep a supply on hand of brown or colored tape for covering labels etc.
This is something I might buy, if needed.
Thanks
Free shipping.. it doesn’t cost me a dime.
I generally buy shipping tape online by the case (36 rolls) .
The price is pretty reasonable and it last me a long time.
For melt value, keep om mind one troy ounce is 31.1 grams.. not 28 grams.
It sounds like selling any collection.
The more expensive items can be sold by themselves. You may want to get the real expensive ones graded.
The lesser valuable can be grouped with other like items.
Some may only be worth the melt value.
Be prepared to do a lot of research.
Good Luck.
I know the local used appliance stores in my area all deliver. It’s the service that keeps their items moving.
The delivery options and logistics would probably be just as important as the price and marketing in this situation. If you could come up with a unique solution for that, you may be able to create a nice niche for yourself.
Good Luck.
$7.33 is the price I’ve been paying for Priority Flat Rate Padded since the rate increase,
Ebay gives a discount on USPS shipping and it it higher for top rated sellers.
Maybe that is why you are seeing a difference,
I’m guessing the watch will fit in a Flat Rate Padded Envelope.
