Highest Price Sold: $300 (antique beaded gloves found at my local auction house, I stepped up and paid $85 after researching similar “sold”pieces, I had my priced at the upper range for this example and took an offer, I am very pleased with the sale)

Returns: 0a good week for me, I can’t even imagine having to pack 60 items in a week, I have decided that that will not be the direction I am going in, I am pleased with the size of my store and the sales flow (in general of course, slow sales are a bummer, but I try and roll with the punches.)
Yeah the whole Chris Cornell thing has sort of upset me–I was living in Seattle in ’92, but at 34 I thought that I was too old to go to concerts, LOL, but I listened to the music, although I wasn’t as much a Soundgarden fan as the other groups, I have been listening to a ton of stuff since he died and so much of it is great…so sad.

Returns: 0Last week was a disaster with only 2 sales: one on ebay, one on etsy, this business is a real roller-coaster, LOL. Anyway, I am pretty pleased with this week’s sales (especially as we are getting into the summer slump.)
Did he ever say how he found the pick? I watched a few of the videos but I don’t recall them saying how they came across the opportunity.
your store looks fine to me with a variety of items–ebay is really slow for me and now that we are going into the summer slump it is easy to get down about sales–just keep listing, maybe run a few auctions on older items, try a sale?
Congrats and now you will have more money to invest! Get going girl with summer coming rapidly, the kids will take up more of your time. BTW, I have never heard of that brand and that is why I like Scavengers so much, I learn all the time even after 30 years of picking!
Summer slump is starting for me I think–the second day where I haven’t sold a single thing on ebay and etsy. I am not going to panic, I am going to keep listing!

Returns: 0I had some great thrift store finds in the last 2 weeks–I don’t share what I sell on ebay (not much anymore anyway, LOL) but I bought a bag of flatware at a Savers/Value Village last week for which I paid $6 for, got it home and found several pieces of sterling in it–sold most of it for a total of $95.
Then there was this Goodwill find–>paid $6 on these stools, sold today for $325!

In general Big E buyers are pretty solid, zero feedback may only mean that the buyer used a “guest account.” I would require buyer signature, although if they are going overseas I might pay for a better shipping class such as express over priority. I sold a couple of years ago, some very expensive slides to Hong Kong–one package went for something like $700 and the other almost $500, I sent one with priority and the other express (insured both of course) and both reached the buyer with no problems. I wouldn’t worry about this, as I’ve said, buyers of vintage denim are very keen and by and large, this is not a big scam category.

Just goes to show you–I have had zero luck with ferragamo (women’s) shoes–even a new in the box pair took forever to sell and I took a $60 offer on them. Also I have had several of those accordian sewing boxes and have never come close to getting $180 for one (maybe it was the brand name?) That said, those boxes always sell–so worthwhile to keep your eyes peeled for them.

FEDEX does not want you to do that, but My local USPS has no trouble accepting Smart Post packages and I drop them off there–so far, so good.
