Question: how many of your sales were clothing? Looking at your store it seems like you have quite a bit of clothing. I am still resisting getting back into clothing even though it sells.
my stats:
Total Items in Store: 428, etsy, 229 ebay
Items Sold: 14–7 on ebay, 7 on etsy
Total Sales: $504 ($167 on etsy, $337 on ebay.)
Highest Price Sold: $75 (vintage sweater, ebay)
Average Price Sold: $34

Yes, please friends, if you aren’t insured check out ACA options–these will still be covered for the coming year no matter what the Republicans do. Remember the ACA is only a law that lays out standards for the insurance industry–and provides subsidies for many Americans who couldn’t afford insurance without it. Health insurance is still a private for profit business and the insurance companies are the ones who decide premiums, deductibles, etc.
I haven’t done sales for awhile, so:
My herbalist chest sold for $375 (I might also make a bit of money on the shipping as it went fedex, so I am not sure of the total cost yet.) Bought for around $100 with fees at the local auction house, I knew that it was a good piece since I had already sold a much smaller example for $125.
bought at an online auction for $18, sold for $65
a “meat and potatoes” buy at the thrift store for a couple of bucks, sold for $30

I bought a job lot of these medallions at an online auction for $18, and have sold 3 (all FDR) for $20 each. I still have a few pieces so total profit should be decent. Also I was the only bidder, but I am sort of a political junkie and they appealed to me.

Returns: 1 (a clothing item of course, LOL)even removing the waiting for payment item, a solid week.

I had an excellent weekend–9 packages went out today. I definitely think that collectibles and antiques sell better after Christmas.
Linda I think that one of the things he has mentioned as selling is educational materials, but yeah, hard to imagine getting enough stuff to do that sort of volume.
You can make a payment whenever you would like with working Capital, but there really is no advantage to doing that as the loan doesn’t charge compounded interest month to month. I honestly don’t mind the 30% going out because, especially at this time of year my sales are stable, I have already paid back around a third of the current loan–certainly this sort of loan would not suit a small part time seller.
