You are not alone. I have approx 1500 items in my store (very few clothing items) and my sales this week have been abysmal
I just got new batch of required item specifics “recommendations” that are ridiculous. Do I really need to fill the names of the actors for 1985 VHS copy of Empire Strikes Back?
There is nothing to do buy wait an see, but I don’t feel like these changes bode well for the scavenger “sell anything” approach.
No interest in selling the exact same items in 2 different accounts. But I would like move items from one account to the other with Ink Frog.
Again going back to the mug example. Store A has 1500 items, 300 of which are mugs. Move 300 mugs to Store B. Now Store A only has 1200 items (all mugs removed). Store B now has all 300 mugs. No duplicate listings.
Oh definitely interested. Thanks for the link – watching now.
Thats so interesting. I got a pirate ship account and every time I check against Ebay prices they are either exactly the same or cost more!
Having said that, I seldom sell things that are compact and heavey (except books which can go media mail).
I often sell things that are large and light. The cubic measurements on Pirate ship don’t appear to help in this instance.
But happy it’s working for you!
Jon Anderson Frog sold for $100.00!
Why is IMGUR so CONFUSING!!! here is the the signature…

Just a point of clarification on cutting wires.
You are 100% safe with these lamps – however if you are ever dissembling something like a radio or other electronic device that has a capacitor – you can get a nasty shock. I doubt you would die. But who wants a nasty shock? Any UL laboratory tested electronic item that has a dangerous component will be very clearly labeled.
Again you are fine with these lamps and I agree with the others – if the bulb does not come out easily do not remove.
They are getting ready for the mass Ebay Exodus.

In regards to using PLs and what they are good for –
I think there is a faulty assumption by most scavengers that everyone on the Internet shops like we do. There are people who don’t enjoy searching for the lowest price. They can afford (and enjoy) buying something quickly on impulse. PLs market to those people.
I LOVE these customers.
They seldom makes returns. They don’t ask a million questions, and generally don’t send offers at ten cents on the dollar.
I am willing to pay extra to get my stuff in front of these wonderful people fist.
But yes you still have to take good photographs 🙂
I did a quick non scenfitic google search with the query “How many brokers have ad blocks installed” – the quick answer was 11% not 50%.

From The Depths of my death pile #67953I thought it might be a Mr. Mouth variant but it doesn’t look like the one in the ad (also I don’t see how mechanics would attach). I search for an older version of the Greedy Green Frog game and came up with nothing.
He goes back to the death pile to sit and taunt me.

I do quite a bit of purchasing on Ebay for my day job and our corporate Fed Ex account is INSANELY cheap. I often contact sellers and ask if I can use our label label on big ticket items, particularly if they seller doesn’t have overnight shipping set up.
If a package where to be rerouted by the buyer, Fed Ex would have the change on file. Further, when you reroute a package through Fed Ex – you need to verify your identity. So committing the type of fraud you are suggesting would be a bit more complicated than just having someone else Fed Ex Number.
There is definitely a risk here – but I think it’s small.
As a buyer I also make sure to do everything with the Ebay Ecosystem, and I make sure that the label I send them has the same address as my verified PayPal account.
The ones I love are the “watchers” who watch your $8.00 item with free shipping. What are you watching for? What do you think is going to happen? Do you think I am going to pay you to take it?
I usually politely call out the ridiculousness of their request by turning repeating their ofer back to them based on percentages.
For instance if I am selling something for $30.00 and they offer me $6.00. I counter them with the following explanation:
Sorry but I can’t offer an 80% discount at this time. Best I can do is 20% off for $24.00. Thanks.
Sometimes they accept but often times they counter with $8.00 and then I just decline.
