I think it relates to how much you are listing. I am not proposing a “feed the beast” conspiracy. Rather, when I am listing like crazy about 1/3rd of my items sell with in 2 weeks 1/3rd sell with in 60 days and then the other 1/3rd are super long tail items. If you stop listing you can expect to lose that fresh batch.
And again, I don’t think this is agolrthym magic. Canceling and re-listing doesn’t do anything.07/09/2021 at 9:33 am in reply to: No more leaving Automatic Feedback since changing store…Bummer. #89601
Even with the fee they will charge me to switch, I know realize it’s more cost effective to switch from a premium store to a Basic Store. No more where I look I eBay, I can’t find a detailed listing of what features I will be giving up by dropping selling manager pro. Can anyone find a list of specific bullet points.
Here is the best page I can find and it’s not great.
I don’t give automatic feedback and while I have templates set up, I seldom use them. @jay which store are you subscribed to?
Thanks Eliza-bee that was it and I was under valued! I Just kicked up the price.
Thanks all06/23/2021 at 10:19 am in reply to: Worthpoint Help – MONKEES 1967 VINTAGE GREEN SWEAT SHIRT #89430
An item is worth what someone will pay for it at specific moment in time.
If there are no other 1967 Monkees sweat shirts for right now, consider the item priceless.
The Prince of Dubai may very well be a Monkees fan and $500.00 is nothing to him.
List for $500.00 with best offer (again assuming there aren’t 20 others available) and see what happens.
Well whatever it is, clearly its going to be long-tail.
Thanks for heading down the rabbit hole but I can’t read the price info? What was the average sale?
Soap keeps surprisingly well. I had a huge lot of 1990s Sunlite soap branded for South Africa. I sold those one bar at a time for an entire year (not sure how much that was related to the pandemic but sales were pretty steady even after hoarding stopped).
Soap keeps, but if it’s very very old, I would think that people would buy it to collect and put on display.
I don’t ask why anymore.06/11/2021 at 9:03 am in reply to: Final Value Fees Incorrect ; eBay Store Seller & Managed Payments #89257
I just received a fee fee credits for “billing errors”. I did not contact eBay to make adjustments on these, so it looks like they caught the mistake and are correcting.
@workhorse since the buyer can force a return at the sellers expense by filing an INAD, responsibly always falls (unfairly) on the seller.
Cost of doing business!
LOL – fortunately buyer understood english. Apparently the German equivalent is “wie es ist” translates to “As It Is”.

While I have not seen an official announcement, I think eBay is dropping both “require immediate payment” and “no immediate payment required” in favor of eBay managed payments. I switched all my listings to eBay managed payments which (I think) is a hybrid system. It allows people to add items to their cart (allowing for multiple purchases on same order), while still requiring immediate payment once the trigger is pulled.
Again this is what I have pieced together based on the eBay sellers podcast and my own experience, but I may not have it 100% correct. Anyone one else see anything posted by eBay?
oops not that it matters but reel was not shot a Disney World shot a worlds fair, but the question still stands….
You did the right thing.
If it is someone purvey you have removed him from your life.
If it was a legitimate request, you have taught him a valuable lesson about the right way to contact people.
The last bit need to be updated:

Why does eBay have this policy?

We want to make adult items available to those who wish to purchase them and can do so legally, while preventing those who do not wish to view or purchase these items from easily accessing them.
How are they making anything available to adults? Everything is restricted?!
Tried to make on Sue Crets and the system froze.
