Thats what I needed to refine my search! Gana Gweya Ho is the name of the artist it translated to Covered with Down.
Thanks!
Jay
I thought you would appreciate this. This is the power of ChatGPT. This is the conversation chain I had with it, that got me to the description in my listing:
The Chat:
Thank you both. Yet another thing I never would have learned were it not for scavenging.
Thats what google translate said and I though it was gibberish! What on earth does that mean and how does it relate to the photo? (city boy here)
Thanks all – it’s been listed, it gotten 28 views within the first few days of listing and only one watcher. So I think it’s safe to assume, I have it over valued. But at least the keywords are working.
Thanks all. It is so surprising to me that there isn’t a better on line tool to identify artists signatures and markings. I know they are on-line visual references pages, but with the power of AI search engines and recognition software, you would think there would be a more elegant solution.
That didn’t work … lets try again.

06/16/2023 at 8:04 am in reply to: Ebay glitch alert: The Date sold changes when the buyer pays #100345Curious why you do it that way. Given the high flakiness of customers, I never count the sale until the buyer has paid.
@Antique Frog . When you refer to Birmingham, is that a manufacturer or do you mean a geographical location. UK? Alabama?
06/01/2023 at 10:01 am in reply to: Seeking Recommendations for a Desktop Scanner for Smaller Items #100198I will be starting with a cell phone and blu-tooth shutter button. Will spend more as needed :). The rest of this yer is about listing in bulk with smaller easier to store items.
05/31/2023 at 8:51 am in reply to: Seeking Recommendations for a Desktop Scanner for Smaller Items #100193I think I figured out what I have been searching for. I have been overthinking it (as usual). I want a small copy stand with a camera that can attach to Adobe Lightroom. I am going to start simple and experiment with just mounting my phone, but I think this is the way forward.
Thanks Jay & AF for your input.
05/29/2023 at 4:30 pm in reply to: Seeking Recommendations for a Desktop Scanner for Smaller Items #100173Nope that’s not what I want. I use my iPhone and that’s great for something’s but I want a unit that is a fixed in the overhead position that connects directly to the computer.
and yes, I know I could get a tripod or mount for the phone but I would really like a dedicated unit
