Lack of eBay support is kind of what I suspected. So the next logical question is:
Is there any REAL difference between being an above average seller and I top rated seller? I don’t bother with free returns or guaranteed same day shipping. The 10% off final values fees isn’t worth it for me.
Last month I saved $44.00 in shipping by putting first class stamps on things like patches, photographs and small ephemera.
I have not yet lost by Top Rated Seller Status, but at this rate it will be gone next month.
Has anyone else gone through this? Did they notice a dip in sales? My suspicion is that I won’t see a change but would love here from other members of the group.
It’s tracking only. I put a regular forever stamp on the envelope.

How did you describer the pack?
I paid for their “premium” bookkeeping live service. For $200.00 a month I was gaslit while they made Swiss Cheese of my general ledger. After 8 months (& approximately 2k wasted) – I had nothing. I spent a a weekend doing the books myself in Excel and I am much happier now.
The ordeal did forced me to really understand how eBay bills and reports income (the books I made match my 1099-K to the penny) but man, what a price to pay.
There should be a class action lawsuit brought against that company. They have got to stop using the word “experts”. Their support team is overworked, underpaid and most definitely under-qualified.
Or maybe not – LOL. Have the listings I found are Cateye and the other half of Catey. Anyone familiar with the brand. I can’t find any thing relevant under either name.
Fantastic. I’ll check it out. I have PTSD from my 8 months with Quickbooks.
oops thats Catey Pottery
Thanks @clarity-sange… that was the little nudge I needed to push my brain in the right direction. it’s Cateye Pottery
See link here for one that previously sold.
Much much much gratitude.
Yeah Bonanza is a mystery. I was selling a few items a month last year, and this year I only sold one. As you mentioned the work you put into it is minimal so, it’s not a big deal.
I’ll let everyone know if I see an boost in sales during my free 30 day trial at the $40.00 per month subscription level. 1 day in and I am not terrible impressed.
I didn’t even think about automatically ending sales when they sell on other platforms. I have been spoiled by Bonanza.
My biggest issue with all of these cross listing sites is I want eBay to be the main platform I list on. Inkfrog (which I use to back up my photos) is designed to be the central hub where listings are created.
List Perfect is still appealing to me because I would like to curate specific segments of my eBay store. For instance, I’d like an easy way for all of my Clown figurines to be posted in one store on Etsy.
The Bonanza cross is listing is so easy it’s a no brainer. I just signed up for a 30 day trail which supposedly will increase traffic. If I see a $40.00 boost in sales this month (the cost of monthly membership) I will keep it.
This was a craze you could set your watch by.
One time I sold 45 books to one set decorator. The sound my phone made when they paid sounded like a Casino payout. Best feeling ever.
I listed it. Not my best work. Open to suggestions if you have them.
Either Ray or Kay ?
@antique Frog. Aren’t they fantastic? I have had them listed for a few years now and have had no takers, I confident they will have their day.
