eBay has done a major update again that is extremely irritating.
They moved the “give us an extra $2.00 by mistake” field * (aka sub-titles) back to it’s original position (next to the SKU box). Why is this field here? Why can’t I toggle it off?
They did some sort of update to item specifics which pushed many of the previously specifics into custom fields.
About 100 of my listings lost their shipping weight and dimensions.
I got a listing pulled for nudity because I did not have the word “nude” in the itemized description field.
Here is the a link to the “sensitive” imagery I exposed America to:

Sigh.
I feel eBay is progressively moving away from taking the needs of the “anything and everything” sellers into account. I don’t think it’s a conspiracy, just a business decision. If it gets worse hopefully Bonanza will take up the slack.
Well this was poorly messaged!
Apparently international shipping is a default.
Could it be that you are selling them with out the box? Everything I see listed includes the case and paper slip that goes along with it.
$610.00 back in 2016

I love sales like your flute. While it’s always more exciting to make a large profit, you turned a small profit and got paid to learn about musical instruments. I love getting paid to learn.
I’ll be working here for a fews MONTHS for my (other less fun) job.

If you can put me in touch with Steve Schultz, I could put him directly in touch with the production designer on this project. He would be a perfect direct source for them.
09/03/2022 at 9:47 am in reply to: Poll: What do you put in the description box as your standard practice? #97546You might want to reconsider. On the mobile app, the condition description comes first and the body description is hidden unless the under clicks on the “see details button”.
I usually just put the same information in both fields.

08/25/2022 at 9:39 am in reply to: Heads up: Buyer was able to complete purchase for one-third the price. #97418hmm this sounds to me like you accidentally accepted the buyers offer. The sale price doesn’t always update when you click on your sold listing.
I have best offer turned on for most items, and then if I get a silly lowball offer (usually anything less than 50%) – I decline and immediately update the listing to auto decline anything less than 49% of the listing price.
I’ve always been able to upload photos from phone using the eBay. The app allows you to access photos in your camera roll. I have a mac but I assume it’s the same on Android platform.
With the new listing tool, I have found that moving between desktop and mobile is alot smoother.
I will say the new listing tool is better than it was. There is a learning curve to dealing with the new item specifics format. While I think click boxes are faster, once you get a rhythm the pull down menus are WAY MORE functional than they were on day one.
Sold for 12.99 in 2013.
If there are not anyother ones like it on eBay- I list at at least 49.99 with best offer.
Not fair Retro, I am sure eBay saved a ton of money.
