Does eBay have any specific rules against maintaining multiple accounts? I have heard Jay & Ryan mention that they have an account for buying and an account for selling.
There are1500 miscellaneous items in my store. Ceramic Mugs make up 300 of the 1500 items in the store. I want to move those 300 mugs out of my general inventory for Store “A” and move them to a brand new Store “B.”
Does eBay have any restrictions/rules about maintaining multiple accounts?
Can Ink Frog manage more than one eBay account at a time? If so, can I use the software to move the mugs from one store to another?
Let’s not go down the rabbit hole of “people don’t browse the individual stores on eBay.” I get that. I am using mugs as an example, and if this is possible, I would like to try this as an experiment in branding. This technique could come in handy for ephemera. I am tired of paying a minimum of $2.75 postage for tracking when I could pay .55 cents without tracking. A separate store that was not concerned with maintaining a Top Seller rating would be useful.

There are no limits as far as I know. I have 3 accounts. 1 is my personal account that goes back to the early days of eBay. I have 2 selling accounts, 1 of those is old with about 150 listings and no new items added, the other is my primary selling account with about 3000 listings most with multiple quantities.
I don’t know if you can sell the exact same items on multiple listings, but what would be the point?

No interest in selling the exact same items in 2 different accounts. But I would like move items from one account to the other with Ink Frog.
Again going back to the mug example. Store A has 1500 items, 300 of which are mugs. Move 300 mugs to Store B. Now Store A only has 1200 items (all mugs removed). Store B now has all 300 mugs. No duplicate listings.

I can’t answer your specific questions about Inkfrog since I don’t use it; however, the reason Jay and Ryanne started with it was to do the opposite of what you want to do. They had two stores and they wanted to move all the items from one of the stores into the other. I’m sure that the opposite can happen.
You can search the podcasts or forum to find more specifics of what Jay & Ryanne did and why they did it. Otherwise, I would call or chat with Inkfrog and ask your specifics.

I know personally you can do what you are asking with both SixBit and WonderLister since I have used both. I would imagine you can do it with InkFrog [if they allow multiple stores with your subscription level].
With SB and WL you can have various number of stores which will stay in synch but you have to have a higher level subscription. 1 store for x amount of dollars, 2 stores for next level up and so on.
But as Sharyn says, go to the source and ask InkFrog what you can and can’t do with your sub. level and what would it take to be able to do it.
As far as Ebay goes, yep you can have two stores, just like Jay and Ryanne did. Most people have two just to keep their buying and selling activities separate. But as Ryanne has mentioned before, the new store will most likely come with a few restrictions-limitations in the beginning, have no feedback of course. Then you will most likely want to separate the connections to PayPal so Sales and expenses will relate to the selarate stores. Also your accountant will like that and you personally can keep an eye on the numbers to see where your P&L stands with regards to both.

Yep, no limit on eBay stores as far as I know. Its common to have multiple accounts. Buying accounts. Nice accounts. eBay wants your fees 🙂
Inkfrog and other services have tiers where you pay more to handle more than one account:

$29/month gets you 5 accounts
