Running a 30% OFF store wide Cyber Monday sale Sun PM – Tues Morning. So far so good – lots of lift on OLD items which is great.Listed 20 items on Mercari, continued to cross to Poshmark, and a few more on Depop as well. Going to see how Q4 goes on these alt. platforms.
I think my store fell into an ebay black hole for a day and then came out again.
U I have become less picky about my perfect measurements over time. I never get a mismeasure complaint, the “fit” returns can mean everything from it does not go around their body to the way it looks on their body.
I had a buyer give me a low rating b/c he said it was a woman’s coat even though I had measurements, the buttons on the mens side, and it was a frickin farmer /trucker jacket. So, you will always get those people.Yes, I have noticed it mostly with International buyers over last 2 months. I am beginning to think ebay doesn’t email them a reminder. I now just set best offer on the item at the price we agree to (w/ Immediate Pay enabled, of course) and tell buyer “Ok, if you send the offer I will accept it.”

Sharyn: This is how I did first time for ACTIVE Listings but I would do Excel if you can:
Go to ACTIVE listings
Search Drop Down (auto populates to item title, scroll to Current Price) and play from there.

3% of itemsHeidi – I feel you! I have looked into mini sheds, but I know I would blow out of them quickly. Plus, I am a light freak – I can’t be in the dark looking for stuff, so I would need overheard lighting. When I see storage units that are dark and people are hunting for their items it stresses me out! 🙂
However, my new plan is getting more creative in my house for storage. My home (1200 sq feet) that is full of frankly, our own household crap. I have been relying on shelf racks and tubs for storage, but I see potential in other areas of my house.
For 2018, I spent $100 on a mens shirts and was convinced I would make $500. Nope. I made $50. Yes, $50. I ended up doing a bundle of same sizes.

Highest sale: Sundance Catalog sweater $45STRATEGY: Back to my daily listing goals. I need to stay on track or I fall off track. Killing the death piles – I only have about 25 items always on deck. Donated / threw away damaged items from Bins I got.
I have been accepting offers like crazy. I want to move this old clothing to make room for better buys.
Is Mercury in retrograde? I had problems this week:
1. pulled a damaged item, partial refund to buyer in advance.
2. first NEUTRAL feedback ever
3. Item Missing – cancelation (my fault). Unresponsive buyer.
4. 2 “fit” issues returns.When we drop a price, sometimes buyers get an email (I know I do) – “ABC is now $10 less!” – I prefer this method over Offers to watchers.
I think like anything it will take a year for it to be buyer habit and then they will start expecting discount messages as soon as they click “WATCH” much like Poshmark buyers.
