I used the link posted above and was finally able to see a few of my items that qualify. Boy, that interface is chunky and looks like a kids bulletin board.
Anyway- Sent a few offers out on what was available! I will report back.Awesome! I like the idea of it all being tucked away.
I have had more problems with buyers WITH feedback – some with thousands.
Due to the holiday season, we will see lots of 0 Feedback folks.
I sometimes go to see what Feedback THEY have left for other sellers before I accept an offer. Thanks for posting. I got my first neutral last night and I was in the “ebay sucks” hole! Ha! Gotta remember the good ones.
11/16/2018 at 10:25 pm in reply to: Promoted listings experiment RESULTS: Reducing all promoted listings to 1% rate #51829My Cottage – Yes , yes yes! For example: if I have PL for a vintage Chicago Bulls sweatshirt, it may appear as a PL to someone scrolling for Michael Jordan autographs. I like this so much and hope my items are appearing in “if you like THIS, you may like THIS…”
SO much yes on #1. Otherwise, paying the higher rate and having crap photos, high prices, and no return policy could give ebay’s “undesirable sellers” sales as they pay 25% PL rates. It IS pay to play but within the Cassini world that already exists.
Retro Treasures: OK, So on Camel it says “not enough info.” Amz feedback is positive over last year, but all 6 customers complained of “too expensive.” I am not going to sell 1 per month for 12 years, so no thanks on the high prices I think.
Trash Elf Dev- at my next relist I will add in more quantity. Hope to have the same success you did!
Re: Amazon Merchant Fulfilled, the link to sign up is broken. Wish I was kidding.

I have 20 promoted listings on my high dollar items only at trending rates set from 10/31-12/31. Made 1 sale so far. 🙂The biggest spike in impressions and sales was the first week of my promotion (10/31-11/8). It has went way down from there. I am thinking about ending the promotion and restarting in a week to see if it kicks back on and not do a long campaign like I had.
Thanks everyone! This was a truly unique deal in an area i actually know something about pre-ebay brain! Makeup! Super happy they take up barely any space either.
It was one of those moments where I bought a few. But then drove back the next day to get it all. So glad i did, sometimes my cheapness overrides common sense.
Also, I find it hard to research on the phone esp. with unusual items.Thank you all for the lesson!
While my clothes are in the bin system currently, my hard goods/smalls are becoming problematic. I also sell vintage linens which quickly turn into a sliding tower of cloth. That is my next project to wrangle it!
The filing cabinets you speak of – I am imagining the metal, heavy cabinets from yesteryear that pull out long ways or a side pull out.
T-Statt, so your SKU is not the location entirely? So your SKU could be
12345 – Location
Interesting as I only use the SKU FOR the location. So my SKU says “bin 5.”
What do you use the other inventory number for in practice? How did everyone’s October Posh sales go?
POSHMARK
IN Store/Closet: 340
SOLD: 26
Sales After 20% Fees: $659Lessons I have learned:
1. I have started doing about 15 minutes / day of “strategic following.” of active Posh users.
2. Vintage and weird DOES sell on Posh. I have sold some odd ball stuff this fall (vintage cowboy coat, a 1950s sweater, and some quirky sweatshirts). So, list some of that!OCTOBER SALES ROUND-UP:
IN ebay STORE: 950
SOLD ITEMS: 103
SALES: $3600POSHMARK
IN Store/Closet: 340
SOLD: 26
Sales After 20% Fees: $659Total for OCTOBER: About $4200
IN other scavenger news: I just bought my first lot of “replenishables.” in designer makeup. I think these will be long-tail due to volume. I am going to do some research on how to best list these – certainly not put 200 in quantity, right? Maybe quantity 4 at a time?
I don’t sell on Amazon, but I really would consider it for this product. Hmm..Can the potential watcher counter the offer you send?
I really liked that you sent the feedback revision link directly, makes it easy and no fuss for them.
I just came here to complain I lost a clothing item. I listed it 2 years ago and I think it got tossed in a purge. I canceled it, which is so annoying. I keep a good system, but crap happens on occassion.
I am thinking about doing a reverse inventory audit – going through the bins and checking if they are listed. I usually go through my active listings and check the SKU, and then physically go look at the item.
