Wendy,
I would offer that you look into ebay bulk direct from ebay as well as go to USPS.com to find information about printing out a manifest. Even if you don’t use it, it’s good to know especially if the number of items you ship increases.
As for the boss lady, not that is ok, but she may have been taking some frustration out on you from what she sees with sellers coming in and out all day. I am sure postal workers see more than we know of sellers bringing in a wide range of packages and asking for a wide range of services, so I would not take it personally if the postal worker is expressing frustration. I would offer to see if you can go to another post office for a bit just to let this manager cool her jets. I would also offer that you go about your business and then maybe return to your normal post office at a different time than you normally go.
Sigilini,
I would offer that the pictures in the first two links are dark. When you click the third link, the first picture is bright and colorful which is exactly what you want. You may want use a photo editor to brighten the first picture in the first two links or take a new picture. The visual asthetics of our pictures are the first things our buyers really see, so we need to make sure our pictures stand out even when our items are of a darker color.
Here is the picture.
It is called Novena for the Birth of Mary ( Maria Bambina novena ) ~~ September 8

No, I do not think there is. If it is grayed out, it is locked into the listing. I think it is like the Good Till Canceled feature which becomes locked in once the listing is submitted. Actually, it looks like ebay has taken the restocking fee choice off of the listing page.
I would offer that you do not end all of your listings. I would offer that you only relist items with flaws that have been sitting around, and/or summer related items. Maybe even the ones with alot of views or with watchers. Then work on adding new listings -especially any higher priced items.

Two thoughts,
1. It could be a praying angel or it could also be related to confirmation.
2. Do not remove the plastic. Depending on how long it has been on there, it may have become attached to the materials used to make the picture, so removing it could damage the picture. Just be exact in your listing title and description as to what you see and let the buyer decide what they want to do with the picture.I would like to offer that if you are an assertive type comfortable with approaching businesses, you might want to approach laundramat owners, dry cleaners etc. after doing some research to see how much they currently pay on thier hangers, how much these hangers are worth, and how much it would cost you to store and then distribute the hangers. You could then sell some in lots to businesses and then rest on ebay in lots or as singles. As long as you have not listed anything on ebay, what you source does not necessarily have to be sold on ebay.
T-Satt,
If I recall correctly, havn’t you had free returns on?
I think they are doing it now because of the push they are making on free returns. Maybe they received negative feedback about free returns and decided to encourage it through this offer. In addition, I think it is a marketing push. You can not have a good free returns program if not enough sellers are participating. It could also be a data collection opportunity for them. If they are trying to dive deep into data collection, 3 months is a good time period in which to collect data in order to identify any trends and/or changes.
I do wonder what criteria they used (beside seperating out those who already offer free returns) to make the offers. Was it those with low return rates, those with a specific level of feedback, those with a certain level of store, those with a certain number of listings or was it a randomized pulling of stores who received offers? Only those deep inside the world of ebay (at the administrative level) know how sellers were chosen.
Hello Simon,
There is a thread about the Free Returns Ebay Promotion you may want to view.
I do think it is a spool holder. It seems that a loom is smaller and portable in order to knit. It does not appear that knitting can be done using this table. I think the middle area could be used for storing other sewing supplies.
totommyto,
Ebay is still onboarding sellers into the guaranteed delivery program. They have been doing it in parts and gathering data while they do it. By the holidays, there will probably be many more sellers onboarded, so you may see more listings before and after yours. Since they are now making free shipping, free returns, and guaranteed delivery all competative/selling points, it will change how buyers are able to search and as to what results come up.
Seems pretty close to the reputation CL has as a marketplace.
Personally,
I would not list them. Promotional books are given to teachers and even some businesses for free for varied reasons. When teachers get them it is so they will have their students use them causing the school or students to have to buy the book which means multiple copies are sold and the company makes money off of having given a free copy or copues. If businesses get them, it’s because there is some kind of financial contract involved. The company made no money off of the books you have because they were given as a complimentary resource. They sure as heck don’t want someone else to make money off of them.I bet if you check the Vero list, their name is on it.May I ask what seller level you are at? Just wondering if that prompted the offer.
I think we do need to add a percentage or dollar amount onto each item across the board in order to protect ourselves financially. So, if on 10 items you add $1 dollar or $1.50, you have added $10 dollars overall. If only 1 item in the 10 gets returned and the return is under $10, you are covered for the return shipping amount. Personally, I see the return rate increasing as Free Returns goes into full swing.
This is where those with the title of Top Rated Seller and Top Rated Seller Plus need to step in as a collective and let ebay know that the way they are handling INAD protects only them and not sellers and that sellers are not okay with it. Those with top stores and top level status have a strong voice with ebay.Maybe when sellers who bring in substantial amounts for ebay go to other platforms, ebay will start listening.
