That makes sense AtomicStar. I would offer to give yourself some time and space. When you are ready, options and possibilities will be there. I would also offer to remember that this like everything else will pass.
Best wishes as you move forward.AtomicStar,
It must be very scary and overwhelming to see such a huge drop. I am sorry to hear you are going through this.I would offer to do an experiment. Find 20 or 30 items that are summer related and not moving and then create a promoted listings campaign using trending rates. If they are already in a campaign, end the campaign first which will allow you to start again.

Good that it worked out.
I am surprised the listing ended. I have literally seen a block when trying to end an auction. Check your seller ratings inside of the Seller Hub to make sure it did not trigger a defect.
Wow! I thought the numbers might be higher. I am going to have to think about this some more.
No, it is not but it is part of you building an online community/network. People do visit your store (as they note in their posts) and each other’s stores. They also give feedback to each other about their stores and listings and may even make purchases from each other, so what you have built is more than just fun.

bcfol440,
Your post has made me very interested in trying Poshmark. As people move over from ebay, you are going to be well established in reputation and connections. It does sound like a lot of work but it also sounds like an opportunity to build something that can be sustained. The 20% is close to what we are having to pay now in FVF and promoted listings in order to compete and make sales. How have your sales been?-

Jay,
While I am not on postmark, sharing into something is like you and Ryanne do only not under mandate. You guys have this site, you are on YouTube and I don’t remember where else you guys are on social media. You guys are sharing into ebay and actually helping to create ebay sellers as well as possibly making sales. You have been building a community and network which is what Poshmark wants sellers to do.From everything I learned, Poshmark works on a social community dynamic done online. It’s much like Avon and Mary Kay do. They sell product and the social connections. They have specialized selling parties, rewards for levels reached, social groups, encourage getting friends to become sellers in order to help build networks, ways to move up based on sales and connections etc.
Having a bot allows one to check in using automation which is why many sites have verification points which can only be completed by a human. You guys have a security check on your site against bots causing users to have to click on certain pics in order to be verified as human and not as bots.
Because there are bids, you literally can not end the listing. Ebay has it programmed so as to block/stop the removal. Once the bidding closes, I would offer that you sincerely and calmly message the buyer with something like- Hello such and such. I see that you have won the auction and it is with my sincerest apologies that I must inform you of an inaccuracy that was in the listing title. It was noted that this is the first edition which was a mistake. I sincerely apologize for this mistake and would like to know if you would like to continue with the purchase or if you would like to cancel it. Again, I am sorry for this error and apologize for any inconvience it may have caused. Thank you.
Ebay has set it up so they profit from us at higher percentage amounts and they set it up so trending rates (which tend to be on the high side)are set when one starts the campaign which is most likely what people choose. I believe this is effecting sales because people are choosing to pay the higher percentage while pursuing the number of sales even though it is costing them a large chunk of their profits. Many are agreeing to a higher percentage rates plus final value fees plus PayPal fees plus possible free shipping and/or returns.
With all of this ebay is able to collect data showing that sellers will pay higher fees, so we will probably see our fees go up and profits go down.
Do you use promoted listings and if so, at what percentage rate?

I just want to offer that a groupie does not follow someone into their private space and take pictures of them in their most personal moments. If this had occured with another celebrity, I think she would have received a very different response.Best Wishes in whatever you choose to do.
06/19/2018 at 5:41 pm in reply to: Celeb Super-Fan box of stuff…list individually or as a lot? #42866It was a different time. They were obviously very trusting and were not expereincing many of the negative effects of stalking/obsessive behavior many celebrities do. I think it will come down to what you deem to be appropriate and makes you most comfortable.
06/19/2018 at 5:16 pm in reply to: Celeb Super-Fan box of stuff…list individually or as a lot? #42861Personally,
I am against selling. supporting, encouraging anything related to stalking behavior even if it was not deemed as stalking by the celebrity or their representatives. What they may not have realized or taken into consideration by signing and returning letters and/or pictures was that by supporting the behavior they could have opened up a whole can of worms which could have led to serious negative consequences which many celebrities have experienced. In my opinion, showing up into someone’s environment without invitation and/or acknowledgement and then documenting every aspect of their lives is a form of stalking (and in some cases harrassment) in my opinion.
On another note, how do you know he signed it instead of his secretary who thought she was doing something good or did not see it as a problem? Stalking and behavior similar to it is a serious problem. It is a clear violation of personal boundaries, often indicative of serious psychological issues, and can be life damaging for the person being stalked, so I personally would not want to sell or support anything related to it.
On another note, there are at least 2 channels dedicated to old shows which is creating a whole new fan base, so it is possible that the items signed by him (at least those that can be verified as signed by him) may have a fan base.
Good points bcfol440. I do find being able to list something that is fun or that I am interested in helps make the listing go alot faster. Thanks for your input.

It sounds very creepy and like selling the stuff would be in support of her actions. Do you know if there were ever any complaints filed against her for her superman/stalking behavior? If so, I would not sell any of it. If not and she was really just a superfan, I would offer that you only sell pictures of him with his signature and leave her out of it. -
