Jay, I’ve had very few issues and have been using Inkfrog for 10+ years. Having said that, I’ve never exceeded 300 listings. Also, I haven’t switched over to Inkfrog Open yet. So far, they’re still working on a way to switch all your library listings (saved, but not active) over to Open. Until they figure that out, I’m still using the Classic plan.
Inkfrog’s Unlimited Plan is $29 per month and offers “staff accounts”.
When I’m listing an item where brand alone isn’t a big draw, I try to pick out features of the item that might separate it from the gazillion others listed and include them in the title.
In the case of the link you shared, I’d replace some of the generic keywords like “Women’s” and “Long Sleeve” with more descriptive words like “Open Weave”. At this time of year, I might also add “Summer” and “Beach” to the title. It’d be a great sweater to wear over a swimsuit.
Your pictures are great!
Write him back and say “Please be more careful spelling the word excellent”.
I frequently use the word “excellent” for items that have absolutely no sign of wear or use.
I always steer people toward the Ebay system for all the reasons Sharyn mentioned.
Mike, thanks for pointing out the digital distinction. I just googled “First Sale Doctrine” and shared the link without reading it. I read up on it many years ago (anyone remember Taberone? on the Power Seller Board?) but haven’t kept up. Never heard the digital argument. Interesting.
I’ve never been hit except for one time when I listed a pair of Cole Haan Nike Air shoes. I incorrectly spelled Haan in the title and it triggered a VERO takedown from Nike. After a phone call to Ebay, I was able to relist with the correct spelling.
I thought the VERO was all about counterfeiting and things like velcro. Didn’t realize that companies like John Deere or Porsche had a leg to stand on unless what you’re reselling was a infringement from the time it was manufactured.
What about the First Sale Doctrine?

I noticed a couple small moth nibbles, but figured it was worth picking it up anyway. After cleaning, about 15 additional damaged spots showed up. Personally, I never sell a wool blanket without cleaning it first even though it generally costs $15-$20 to have one cleaned where I live. I only buy blankets that I think will sell for $100 or more, so it’s still worth the investment for me.

I don’t recognize the label, but is there an RN number on the underside of the label or on a side seam label?
Please pass along my prayers and well wishes for a full recovery.

04/19/2017 at 7:36 am in reply to: (Hey Ryanne :-) Bulk Shipping Editor on eBay…it's Easier Than You Think #16761I’ve been using bulk shipping for years and have never mixed up packages, but I don’t come close to the volume that J & R do. The most I’ve ever shipped in a day is somewhere around 15 after a holiday weekend.
Like marjean, I write an abbreviated name for the item on the package after shipping. While affixing labels, I have my Excel spreadsheet open, so I know which name goes with which item.
What I never knew about was the option to print the item title on the label. That would further eliminate the possibility of a mixup. I wouldn’t even have to look at my spreadsheet. If the title was something that might promote theft, I could easily sharpie over it before mailing.
Thanks for the tip!

Ryanne, the scan sheet is only available if you use Ebay’s bulk shipping.
RN comes back as Wal-Mart.
