That’s what has me stumped. My Poshmark store name is not my personal name. I did some searching before my original post yesterday, but couldn’t figure out if this is a “thing” with Poshmark.
Would someone else that has a Poshmark store do a search of their real name and see if their Poshmark store comes up in results? If it’s specific to me, maybe there’s something I need to change on my account.
The quality of a Hansgrohe faucet from Costco may not be identical to that of the one purchased at a plumbing supply store. No personal experience with Hansgrohe specifically, but I was alerted by a plumber that there is a difference between plumbing fixtures available at Home Depot/Lowe’s and a plumbing supply store. Found that out for myself when researching fixtures for a bathroom reno. The fixture may look identical on the outside, but the innards are plastic vs. metal, etc. and the model no. will be off by a digit/letter or two at the end.
Thanks, Sonia. That’s amazing!
Agreed. I can barely read the tweet without hearing blah, blah, blah, blah…..
So sorry, Sally. Thank you for taking us along on the ride. All the knowledge you picked up along the way will help you find an even bigger score some day.
When my kids were younger, we bought some tourist t-shirts for them from a vendor on the street in Boston. The first time he wore it, his brother yanked on the sleeve and the whole sleeve separated from the armhole and came completely off:)
Very cool! My guess is that they began life as a store display.
It sounds like a great idea. Would be great if Ebay could do something similar.
Excuse me if I doubt the truth in this statement, though….not that I blame them.
“If we had an Oscar de la Renta runway piece and they sent that over to us, then that’s fine. Typically we leave that for the thrifter, the local shopper who’s going to their local Goodwill,” Jarroush said. “We don’t want to rob them of that.”
I was at a garage sale years back and they had an acoustic guitar and case for $100. My kids all played and I knew the case alone was worth about that. Just as I walked up and spotted it, I overheard someone offering the lady $75. I stood behind the potential buyer and waved frantically over his head and mouthed to let the owner know I’d pay full price. It worked.
Based on my three Millennial kids, there will be NOTHING left to scavenge. They are definitely into the minimalism thing and have been for quite some time.
Ad blocker was the culprit, in both Chrome and Firefox. Thanks guys. Ebay must have made some “improvement”.
Thanks so much for checking. No price limitation. Very weird. Like I said, it’s been on two different computers with two different browsers, so I don’t think it’s a cache thing, but I’ll try that just in case. Thanks for your help.
Thanks, Temudgin.
Would you mind doing me a favor? Search “Dooney Shoulder Satchel” and see what comes up when you drill down to completed and sort by highest price. When I do it, for a split second, a page will show me a fucshia one that sold for something like $450 and then that page disappears and the first one shown on the replacement page is a brown one that sold for $214.
Is it FedEx stuff that is added to your invoice rather than paid directly?
A couple of weeks ago, the top menu on my PayPal account page was in German???
