I think I’ve read all of them. Very enjoyable. They’re “cozies”. My favorite genre.

Number of items listed this week: 0Thank goodness that I held over stuff that didn’t sell last summer and relisted it a few weeks ago as that’s just about all that’s selling and I’m not doing any new listings. As you can see, I continue to put in nearly zero effort and don’t see that changing anytime soon. My store inventory is falling off because I’m not relisting winter stuff that ends, not because things are selling.
Leaving tomorrow for a week long visit with my parents/family in the Chicago area and I’m going to put my store on invisible vacation rather than just leaving it open and adjusting the handling time like I usually do. Sales are so slow (totally my fault) that it’s not even worth the effort to change the handling time and then contact buyers (should there be any) to make sure they noted that it won’t be shipped until I get back.
Hoping I can muster the interest to list my spring/summer inventory when I return. Don’t have a whole lot of it and I’ve hardly been shopping, so if I work on it hard for a few days, I should be done.
Since I’m a clothing/shoes seller, I generally lay low with Ebay over the summer months. Since I’m a slow lister, the ASP for summer clothing generally isn’t worth my time. Have a couple of trips planned, too.

Number of items listed this week: 5Depending on the item, I often use polymailers for international. I sometimes double bag for extra protection with two polymailers if it’s a heavier item.
Also, make sure you include a packing slip. I don’t use them for domestic shipments (personal choice), but always include them in international shipments.
LOL. Agree with Jay.
So, the color in the second photo (dark navy blue) is accurate?
Looks like your first photo is way overexposed. Like I said, I have to adjust the light/dark (called EV – Exposure Value, on my camera) depending on how close I am and the color of the item.
Sorry you’re having so much trouble. I know how frustrating it is, especially when you spent the time/money to get a light setup.
You’re welcome.
Just asked about the setting because before I had a camera with a manual adjustment, I had mine set to fluorescent. Made sense to me since I was using fluorescent bulbs but then someone corrected me. I’ve also read threads where people didn’t realize that their flash needed to be turned off, but I’ll assume you know that.
Since the camera I’ve had for the past few years (a Samsung that only cost about $50) has a manual white balance, I set that using my gray background with the lights turned on and I’m good to go for the most part. I do have to adjust the exposure lighter or darker as needed based on the color of the item and whether I’m taking photos far away or close up.
Amantino, I have that lighting setup and it works great for me, day or night. I posted about it in the photography thread a few months ago.
Did you get 5000K bulbs? Also, did you set your camera to “daylight” mode?
Congrats on a great find!

Number of items listed this week: 3Had some leftover free listings in February, so I relisted what I had held over from last summer. Five out of my ten sales were sandals/swimsuits.
Like others have mentioned, I’ll be snowed in tomorrow. Going to change my handling time from one to three days.
Congrats on such a great week of sales!
I really enjoy your videos. Thank you!
Impressive and ADORABLE!

Number of items listed this week: 0Made a couple of deals this week to clear out some things that have been hanging around at no longer attainable, pie-in-the-sky prices, for too long. Helped the bottom line and still made a great ROI for both.
Haven’t done anything Ebay-related for the past few weeks except for keeping up with relists and shipping. My big accomplishment for the week was dropping all my figures and paperwork off at the accountant’s office on Saturday.

We had our master bath partially redone a couple of years ago and chose the same exact faucets that you did!
Australia is one of the places that I ship to outside of the GSP. I ship FC to Australia once a month or so and have been doing so for years. IME, they know what to expect as far as shipping time. It’s generally about 3-4 weeks.
I’ve never had one Australian buyer contact me wondering why they haven’t received their package yet and I’ve also never had anything but polite buyers who are always thrilled with their purchases and leave great feedback.
Because there’s no tracking, I always buy third party insurance.
