At the very bottom of this page, there’s a box to check which prevents blocked buyers from contacting you. Not sure if this is still true but, in the past, that only worked if they were on the blocked list before they sent you the first message (normally, not the case).

Yes, you have to check the box.
I’m currently using vacation mode for the first time in years because there’s a complicated medical situation going on with my Mom. I booked a one-way flight and had no idea of my return date, so changing handling time wasn’t an option.
Like dragon, I remember hearing years ago that if people had your item on their watch list they could still purchase it while you were in vacation mode. I’m pretty certain that’s no longer the case.
I’ve been on vacation since Sunday and haven’t had one sale. I did a test run signing in on my other ID, searching for one of my items and trying to purchase it. The item still shows up in search, but when you click “Buy it Now”, it says that the seller is away and not processing orders at this time.
Listings continue to end on their scheduled dates.

Thanks, again!
On the sold page in the Seller Hub, it shows the shipped date on the left side which changes to delivery date, once the package has been delivered.
I also picked up a carload (literally) of trash bags filled with moving paper that I found free on Craigslist. After returning home, I did my best to flatten each sheet of paper and stack for a smaller storage footprint. It was a big job, but every time I grab one of those sheets, I’m grateful that I grabbed it. Used to use newspaper and it was so messy.
Hi, Michael.
Just finished a memoir called “The Dirty Life” which was written by a journalist-turned-organic farmer in upstate New York. It was so well-written that I was fully engaged from just about the first page. I’ve never had more respect for the work involved than I do after reading that book. Fascinating read, if you’re interested.
I wash at home. Have never worried about sanitizing afterward. I’ve been doing this for 10+ years with no adverse effects. My sourced clothes are purchased from thrift stores or estate/garage sales. Have never purchased anything where post-sanitizing of the machine even crossed my mind.
It’s a bit frustrating when you live on one coast or the other. In the case of a package that weighs 2-3 lbs., Priority Mail regular packaging is the least expensive for about 3/4 of the country. I put the MFRB as the second option as that’s cheapest for people on the west coast (I’m on the east), but I’ve never once had anyone in the furthest zone make that choice.
I wish there were some way for Ebay to show a shopper the least expensive of the two, based on their zone.
I use it to fill in the inventory number that I assigned at the time of purchase (kept on a spreadsheet). I assign inventory numbers based on year. I also include the initial cost and whether it’s listed as free or calculated shipping. An example:
17-237/5.95/CS
The 237th item I purchased in 2017, which cost 5.95 and is currently listed with calculated shipping.
I don’t print anything for my orders, but I set it up so the SKU shows on my sold page in the seller hub and I transfer the inventory number and the cost to the spreadsheet I use for sales.
Not a silly question. I’ve sold a fair amount of Burberry(s) over the years and yours looks authentic to me. The “s” at the end means it’s an older tie. You can google, but I think they switched to singular sometime in the 90’s.
Kenny: “So I thought I would post one more example and shut up”
Please don’t! I love seeing your stuff.
Woo hoo on the duck call, Kenny! Congrats and thanks for sharing.
You’re a good man.
PickingPair, thanks for the heads-up on double-boxing. I’ve read up on packaging them now, but wouldn’t have realized that they were brittle and needed extra care unless you’d mentioned it.
