Mostly vintage furniture or other large weird items.

It reminds them of something, a time or place etc. nostalgia is a strong emotion.
I graduated HS in 1976, we were required to wear a red white and blue adornment over our robes.
I would think there might be an uptick in bi centennial items in 2026 but I don’t know of anything else that might appreciate greatly between now and then.I’ve found I can get a good price for items on FB.
I think people have more urgency when dealing on FB items, there’s more of a ‘Somebodies going to beat me to it’ feeling.
I know that’s the case when I find something I want.
So it can lead to very quick sales to the first person who responds, plus you have them over a barrel as far as low balling you. I always tell them there are 3 people in line for this and there usually are.09/06/2019 at 12:59 pm in reply to: What Sells On eBay: Iceland Air Card deck, Telephone Index, 8-Track Stereo, Keens, Advent tweeter #67475I have a Ball Peen hammer that matches that style screwdriver, I’ll do some research and list it.
I’ve never seen any lag time between listing n iPhone and having show up on my laptop.
Make sure your sorting correctly with newest listed first on your home page.08/28/2019 at 1:55 pm in reply to: Just got some Strapping Tape. How did I survive without it? #66991I use 2 complete bands of strapping tape around big heavy boxes along with my normal taping of the seams.
It sure does give you a little more peace of mind as nothing short of a sharp edge is going to cause that box to open.08/24/2019 at 9:00 am in reply to: I need help – I think I just sold something valuable for not a lot #66794Ron Gardenhire was the Twins longtime manager from 2002 to 2014.
As you might be thinking after a quick sale, that John Glenn tape is pretty rare and may have brought quite a bit more as space exploration has been a national topic for most of this year, I would’ve had trouble listing it at all, love that stuff.

No matter the platform, better photos help you stand out from the crowd.
I go for the most flattering angles and lighting and I crop edit all my photos.Search ‘Rummage sales’ in FB and you should get several in your area.
Join a few with the highest number of members.
When you finish up your listings you can choose those groups along with all of FB Marketplace, those in your groups will get a notification about the item without having to search for it.For me FB Marketplace is much easier than CL to list an item and if you belong to several local selling groups you can target your item for the largest groups.
That way you item shows up in the news feed of individuals that belong to the group not just people browsing FB. I usually see that my items have been ‘shared’ with their friends.
So often items sell in a matter of hours. Because I’m a full time scavenger seller I’m almost always available, that way deals don’t fall through as much.I don’t know if this is good or bad but I’m pretty sure FB uses photo recognition when you search, as an example, I’ve searched for turntables and been shown a listing for a clock that happens to have a record player in the photo.
Nice turnaround on the Pendleton, board shirts are always a winner. I too have noticed they don’t show up at the yard sales much.
All sales are good, 1.15 transformed into $32 is what it’s all about.
Sorry, I keep the What sold videos as needing a
link to access as I still have what may be an unfounded fear of a previous buyer seeing his item and hearing the price I paid.08/10/2019 at 5:09 pm in reply to: What Sells On eBay: Clock radio, Microphone, Dual Turntable, Pana-Vue, Zippo wicks, Reel tapes, DVD VCR Combo #66190Thanks, looks like some nice equipment.
My son lives in Arvada, ironically he is up here this weekend visiting otherwise I would’ve sent him to go have a look. -
