I normally only sell old collectible stamps on eBay and Hipstamp (another online marketplace focused on just stamps). My wife likes to buy puzzles from the local thrift stores and do them. For years she has been getting puzzles for about a quarter each, doing them (and fortunately taking a picture of each completed one) and then the box went into the garage. I was planning to sell them on eBay but never had time.
Then Covid hit. We noticed that all stores suddenly were out of puzzles. Even Amazon and other online stores. Checked eBay and they were selling for crazy prices. So I put them all out on eBay and they’ve all sold for $15-50 depending on the topic. Disney, Star Wars, and other popular themes do the best. I was starting them at $9.99 in an auction, since it’s such a sellers market.
Anyway, if you have any puzzles, put them on eBay NOW! It’s a sellers market that probably won’t last.

Sorry, nothing came through here. I always copy responses before I post since that weird disappearing does happen sometimes.

OK, it looks like the forum server may think my post is too long (even though it’s shorter that Mike’s typical posts ;)), so I’ll try shortening it or splitting it up into two.

I put up a lot of 7 puzzles (3 sealed, the rest verified complete) for $49.99 and am not getting much interest – not even any watchers.

I’m wondering if the problem may be that I grouped together too wide of a variety?

Sorry for the flood of emails, but I can only successfully post 1-sentence posts, so I’ll skip the rest of my post and stop here.

I don’t know what’s wrong but I can’t seem to sell my puzzles.
I have a few new ones listed for $20.00. -

@sonia:
Yes very puzzling.I sold a new in box and sealed 1000 piece puzzle for about $12 plus another $10 for priority shipping. It had been for sale since Sept 2019.
Everyone was saying puzzles were hot selling this month. But mine did not attract that much interest before finally selling. Glad its gone. It was GOT theme.

Well, I’ve sold 3 already. Put 3 more up for sale. I used to do well with puzzles, but for some reason I stopped buying/selling them.

I think pricing based on the competition is key for puzzles. I only had four and I have sold them all.

I split up my mixed lot of 7 puzzles a few days ago, and have sold 3 since then. Two for 9.99, one for 12.99. Plus Shipping. Free to me.

Who knew there would be a puzzle shortage? Lol I checked Walmart and Meijer yesterday and both are completely sold out. I sold the 3 I put up yesterday. One guy bought 2 together. So, if anyone has any puzzles just sitting around, I would definitely list them.
