Yes, I check it whenever I encounter severe issues with submitting listings to the ebay website – most of the time it shows other people in my general geographic area having problems as well, which makes me feel better. But I have never encountered a situation where there was a website issue lasting long enough to seriously impact sales over the course of several days.
04/21/2017 at 3:03 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 306: We Love Flea Markets and Craigslist #16912BrianB, a few months ago I sold a pair of mens dress shoes with different widths (one medium, and one wide). They actually sold pretty quickly. As I was doing research, I found quite a few “mistmatched size” shoe listings on ebay. So yes, it’s a thing.
ec411 – thanks for the info
For a while I tried the method of not leaving positive feedback until a week or two had passed and I was fairly sure the buyer wasn’t going to cause me any problems such as an unwarranted INAD return. I stopped doing this and now just give feedback immediately after shipping for the following reasons:
a) delaying my feedback seemed to reduce the number of positive feedbacks the buyers gave me
b) Most buyers don’t cause any problems at all, so this seemed like overkill
c) it was kind of a pain to keep track ofI would love to do automated feedback, but I can’t figure out how. The ebay website describing automated feedback all refer to how to enable it in Selling Manager Pro, which doesn’t seem to exist anymore now that I’m using Seller Hub.

You did everything just fine. You do not have to wait for offers you made to expire before accepting other offers. I would ignore this message. I think it’s just the standard message ebay sends out when seller offers expire – I guess they didn’t bother customizing it for the situation when seller has accepted another offer.

Venture capital is not like a loan. When you get venture capital funding, what the VCs are doing is purchasing a percentage share of your company. If your company then goes bankrupt, you don’t owe them anything.about a week or two ago I had a listing with GP checked that I couldn’t de-select just as you describe. When I called ebay, they told me that the only way to de-select it is to end the listing and then sell similar. It has something to do with the fact that you’ve already paid for it. In other words, they are “helping” you by not allowing you to de-select a feature you’ve paid for, but that approach only makes sense for 30-day listings.
They wouldn’t refund the 2-3 GP charges I had, b/c they said that “I” had selected it. But of course there’s no way I would ever do that – it would have only been by mistake.
I love this chart!!!
Are you going to be posting it on a website somewhere, imjosh? They always disappear when I change the category.
Looks like it’s Laurel Burch

let us know how it goes
I would ask the buyer to initiate a return via the official eBay return process. Even if they’ve already sent the item to you, they can still go in and start the process. That way you don’t have to muck around with paypal returns and worrying about FVF refund, etc. I’ve done this a couple of times, providing exact instructions as to how to do this, and each time the buyer followed the directions and the process went smoothly from there.
Doesn’t it also have the person’s birth date? I would destroy it unless I was certain the person was no longer alive.
