I just realized you said all your photos are on your phone. I think you can follow my instructions on a phone, just when you go to “paste” in the forum, I think you need to tap on the screen to see the “paste” option or something like that.
Or maybe there’s an imgur app that makes this all easier on a phone, I’m not sure.
SandyGirl,
1) Go to imgur.com
2) click on the green rectangle that says “new post”
3) As it now instructs, either drag a photo to that grey box in the middle, or click “browse” to select a photo or set of photos from your computer
4) Now your “post” has been created, and on the right side of the screen you will see something like “https://imgur.com/a/” and right next to it a box that says “Copy”. Click on “Copy”.
5) Now go to the scavenger life website, and in your post in the forum, do a “paste” which is CTRL-V or CMD-V depending on what type of computer you use. You should see a imgur.com URL added to your post.Voila, you have now hosted your photo on imgur.com and inserted a link to it in your SL post.
yup – pretty much every company works like this.

For those of us with limited storage, or who just want a small store, or who just don’t want to get stuck spending our time on low value items (ie, want to have a high average sale price), I think your approach of doing research up front makes a lot of sense. I do that, too, though I sell different types of items than you (mostly clothing).I don’t think you sounded difficult or hostile.

Thanks for the recommendation. I saw the title on netflix, but from the photo it seemed like it would be too goofy. I have now added it to my list and look forward to trying it out!
Hm. okay. I just read the entire article. Looks like I may be wrong. Great!
I wouldn’t assume that terapeak will be free once owned by ebay. Companies in silicon valley don’t typically buy other companies just to give their products away for free, but do so in order to add new revenue streams.
But I would love to be wrong in this case!

Helps us feel good about spending money on inventory and builds up the excitement to do the unglamorous work of listing.”
I do that, too, after a day of thrifting! So fun.

Please take care of yourself and try not to overdo things! Wow – 32 listings in one go is a HUGE batch from my (also living with CFS) perspective. I also do each type of task in batches, but my batches are tiny. Today I took photos of 2-3 items and then took a long break. Later I cleaned/got ready to be photographed about 2-3 things also. I may still list 2-3 things tonight. The biggest batches I’ve ever done is maybe photograph 10-15 items in one session.I hope you find a working rhythm that you’re happy with and doesn’t cause you to get sicker. Take care.
SoniaWelcome!
Wow. A full time job + 15 hr/wk job + a 400-item ebay store!?!? That is incredible. How do you find the time?Yes, I saw that same information on the web prior to posting, and was looking for someone on this forum with past experience with these coats to look and the photos to confirm, b/c I am not completely certain that it’s always possible to get the plaid lines to line up on the seams, particularly on a diagonal and a-line. But maybe it is. and also b/c it felt like quality to me.
See last photo where plaid lines don’t line up
Interesting to learn about other people’s processes. After I’ve collected all the items I’m going to ship, I pack, weigh, print and attach label for one item from beginning to end before moving on to the next item. And even then I’ve made mistakes!
You could also try checking out The New York Thrifter on youtube. She sells on ebay and poshmark. Maybe you could leave a question for her in the comments of one of the videos.
Thanks for the feedback, Jay!
