It took me a while to find this again, but what I learned recently is that you only have to refund them if the tracking shows no movement for 7 days. Check out the “refund the buyer” section of:
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/managing-returns-refunds/help-buyer-item-didnt-receive?id=4116
I agree with what’s been said previously about politely asking for patience from the buyer (“let’s give it a few more days”) and explaining the recent delays, including examples of other transactions of mine. I also assure them that they will absolutely guaranteed either receive the item or get a refund (b/c it’s ebay’s policy), it’s just a matter of when. And I’m asking for their patience for a while longer so that I don’t lose $$ on the transaction. I also sign up for the tracking alerts and check in with them to show them that I’m watching out for their pacakge and haven’t forgotten about them. It really doesn’t take much time and has worked every single time for me. Two of these in the past couple of weeks.
The one like a bird looks pre-Colombian to me. So I looked up pre-colombian whistle and found this:
Good luck! Let us know what you find out.
Have you checked replacements.com or a depression glass book?
Replacements.com doesn’t show a yellow option for the Federal Madrid pattern. So maybe your customer is right.
agree with you. Not amber.
Of course, the second link you sent to me doesn’t look like amber to me either.
To me, amber is something like this:
or
But I am not a depression glass expert.
Cool – thank you so much, Amatino!
Yeah – that’s what I thought, too. But when I added “military” to the search terms, nothing came up. Thanks for the suggestion!
The mark looks the same as on this etsy listing for sabattini

I have been anticipating a name-related issue in getting onto MP, so I have just changed the names on my account as per the instructions you shared. Sorry to hear the process has been frustrating for you. Hopefully this will help make things smoother for me once they get around to moving my account over to MP, which I’m assuming will be sometime soon, since I registered for MP a while back.
Thanks MyCottage for always sharing these announcements! Somehow I never manage to check the announcements section on Seller Hub…
Bascially you get more free listings only if you list in the categories:
No, not only. Small sellers without stores, as well as sellers in the Starter and Basic store levels get more free listings in ALL categories, regardless of whether they are in MP or not. Check the “All Sellers” section of the first link MyCottage shared:
https://pages.ebay.com/seller-center/service-and-payments/insertion-fees-update.html#m22_tb_a1__4
I seem to have fallen right in the sweet spot, with a store of 375-425 listings. I just cancelled my Premium level subscription that was about to renew, and wasn’t sure if I had done the right thing or not. But now that Basic is up to 350 listings, and I usually have about 10-30 listings in the Crafts category, this is definitely going to save me some money (100 new free listings per month at 25c per listing = $25, which is not nothing).
Your sales are 36% of what they were, which is a drop of 64% – that’s what I meant.
Maybe the worse than last year effect is due to sales having been higher than usual the last few months – they have been for me, anyway.
So this year your drop in average daily sales is 175/275 = 64%. What was the drop last year? Is it really worse, or does it just feel that way?
I’ve seen a big dropoff in the last week or two as well, but I haven’t quantified it, and have no reason to believe it’s worse than previous years.
