If I counter a buyer’s offer, 95% of the time I never hear from them again. The key for me is to just accept that that’s how things are, and not to get aggravated about it (easier said than done of course!). It has taught me to think hard about countering and asking myself how much do I really want to keep holding on to this item. When storage space is limited, sometimes it’s just good to let things move on out and make room for new things that might do better. I accept plenty of 50% offers and don’t use auto-reject because I usually price high.
Wow – that is great! I have achieved “letting go” nirvana for neutral and negative feedback (it barely affects me at all), but have still a ways to go for INADS.
It’s for golf balls and tees

@Amatino – what do you mean by “Print labels for parcels”? LOL.
I think they print one of those old fashioned postmark strips (red print on 1-inch wide strip of white) which is on some sort of old fashioned semi-manual machine. Or, if it’s not a large amount, they use some of the stamps they have on hand that haven’t sold.
I think they actually have a printer for the computer they use at their desk in the back. They just don’t have the fancy computers/software with the extra display for the customer that then prints receipts and labels.
I’m glad we have a post office at all!
it means daffodil in french.
It says Narcisse on the tin in this listing:
which makes me think narcisse is the name of the fragrance, and bonnie b is the brand name.
What if it’s the post office that doesn’t have a printer? Lol. My (rural) PO doesn’t even have the ability to print receipts. 🙂
Congratulations!
That’s cool! One of the bank tellers sometimes lets me do transactions without my bank card or any id, but the other one doesn’t.
Another fun thing is never having to take out my library card in order to check out a book. I don’t even keep it in my wallet anymore. And when I say “never”, I mean “not even once” – they somehow immediately remembered my name and face from the one time I went in to register. New people really stand out, I guess.
Oh yeah, the waving thing. That was one thing I learned when I moved to a rural area about 5 years ago. It’s fun!
It actually would be crazy to do in a suburb or a city, b/c you pass by so many more cars there – you’d have to just keep one hand up off the wheel all the time.
I like to also see the customer SKU on the label printing page (b/c I have packing info in there such as “tyvek or PFRE” or “make sure to keep under 2lbs” if I know it’s going to be close) and it used to be there, but then they took it out sometime in the last couple of months 🙁
thank you so much, MyCottage!
I wish worthpoint had a subscription plan for $5-10/month for a very limited number of searches so folks like me could stop bothering the very generous subscribers here on SL. Or maybe someday I should just bite the bullet and spring for the full $17/month.
Pretty please?

I’m trying to decide on whether to pay up for some Pierre Deux NWT flatware.
now the photo came up.
I think the type of stitching is crewel, though not 100% sure without being able to see it up close.
The floral part of the design looks similar to that on a pillow cover from India that I received as a gift.
