DebitendCredits: Thank you! Right how I have three watchers, item was listed three days ago. And I am the only one on Ebay with those buttons right now.
It always makes me uneasy to go crazy with the price — I don’t have the courage that Ryanne and Jay have — but I am game to do the experiment. I will change the listing to 100.00 with best offer and see what happens…
Thank you Steve, not too late at all! Thank you for taking the time to look at WorthPoint that is super helpful and appreciated! I have them listed for 50.00 with best offer. I already have three people watching them so I am taking off the best offer now that I have your info.

I have discovered that FedEx Ground/Home is like Retail Ground in price and that I can print the label from my computer. The only bummer is I have to drop it off.
And I discovered that at some point in weight and size, Retail Ground catches up to Parcel Select in price. It is only the larger, LIGHT WEIGHT items that are cheaper Retail Ground.

She had it priced WAY high and she obviously did not know what it was judging by the title. It was a Spelter Clock Topper and I know this because I had the exact same one.
I waited for her reply and she finally wrote back and said she was ready for the bad or good news I did not tell her the worth, I just told her what it was and pointed out that hers was missing a piece (as did mine) and I figured she would just do the research herself.
She never replied back…

08/08/2019 at 10:16 pm in reply to: Do you ever tell another Ebay Seller that you found an error in their listing? #66095I think that we here at this SL Community are more open to communication and therefore more willing to reach out to others when we think we can be helpful. It is never pleasant to get rebuffed when you are just trying to help, but I can see from the comments here that it is better to say something if you see a significant error because more often than not it is appreciated.
I had a buyer reach out to me to educate me about a couple of lidded Japanese tea cups that were “his and hers” and I thought they were ginger jars. That was really helpful because they sold after I corrected the listing.
I have also had a couple of times people confirm to me that I got something right when I seemed uncertain in my listing. And once I had someone tell me the glass blower’s name and that was SUPER helpful.
Twice I used a Fed Ex label provided to me by the seller. No issue. I never did it with USPS, only FedEx.
In both cases they had a fed ex account and they got better rates. I was fine with it and there was no issue — except in one case I had to drive it do a remote location but it was a 450.00 sale so obviously I was ok with it. I was able to track the package and I put the tracking in the my sold listing.
08/08/2019 at 7:56 pm in reply to: Do you ever tell another Ebay Seller that you found an error in their listing? #66085I did have a really funny one where a new seller (only had 10 feedback) was listing their sold items… literally the listing said said SOLD on the title.
I reached out to him/her and VERY gently asked if that was an error. Nope. Not an error. He/she said that this was to promote their store. I asked if they wanted some advice. Two days later they said yes. So I GENTLY told them what my thoughts were.
They appreciated it BUT insisted that this would promote their store. I wished them all the best, most sincerely.
08/08/2019 at 7:52 pm in reply to: Do you ever tell another Ebay Seller that you found an error in their listing? #66084Clarity: ok, that is great! Because it is always a 50/50 chance that the seller will appreciate, I feel compelled to tell them. I would hate to be apathetic and not care at all.
08/08/2019 at 7:49 pm in reply to: Do you ever tell another Ebay Seller that you found an error in their listing? #66080gfd_622: thank you for the feed back! I feel as you do.
Thank you for the feedback, very very helpful, as usual.
Good morning Jay, thank you very much for the feed back.
I have never sold buttons before so I don’t yet have a feel for value. I see Boy Scout buttons but they are not rare and they worth about 5.00-25.00.
My Sea Scout buttons are rare so I was thinking of listing the lot for 24.95 but then I thought I might be under valuing, and then I thought of listing for $50.00 and I wondered if I was over shooting the mark.
I am trying to get a feel for what they might be worth by comparing what I think with what some others might think about this.
Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.
Just answered my own question! Sea Scout Button.

I have been going through my 1100 listings to change the shipping options for the larger items.
This is a real pain!!! It should have been made easier.
Thank you Jay!
