Hi Marjean, thank you very much for your feed back. I really appreciate that you took the time to look at my listings. That means a lot to me.
If you did not see the copyright page then it was an oversight on my part because I usually include it, unless I bundle books in which case I might not have included any.
I envy the folks that can list on multiple sites. I am barely keeping up with one. I am embarrassed to say that 9 listings a day is about my average and I work all day! I have not yet grasped how to sync and double post quickly. From what I read etsy takes some learning, or am I wrong?
I attempted posting on cl, offerup and letgo on a couple of items but it hardley seems worth doing
I am hoping to catch up with you guys soon and alway appreciate any feed back that is offered so thank you again.
I sometimes suspect that some people just do shotgun lowball offers with the idea that some might get accepted and that is why it looks and feels so impersonal. No message and no reply on counter offer.
Thanks Joe, I just wanted to confirm that I was on the right track. I was thinking the same. So grateful for all your help. Thank you.
Joe, may I please ask for your opinion (again!)?
I have a 1942 wartime pamphlet from the US Chamber of Commerce called Fighting Through to Victory… I see none others like it.
List?
Don’t bother?
Price range?
Best way to list it? Historical, Wartime…As always, your input is invaluable.

An no, my husband always says that the lotto is for people that are bad at math. Although once we did go in with a group and spent 20.00 — and the ONLY reason we did it was not because we thought we would win, but we knew that if, in that one in a trillion chance, we did win, we would feel so horrible that it was worth the 20.00 just so we can have peace of mind.

Thank you both, that puts me at ease and I feel more comfortable now to list it. I put it up for 150.00 and let’s see where it goes. Thank you again, I am very grateful for the help.
Hi Clarity, Thank you for asking:
The Story of Ferdinand 1st edition 3rd printing 1936 Hardcover

Joe, there are some crazy prices like in the thousands for 1st Ed 1st Print. Mine is 1st and 3rd. I see one similar to mine selling for 250.00. The sold listings are later issues by a year or two and are less than $200.00. Do you think those wild prices are realistic?
This is making me a little crazy, trying not to make fool out of myself with low prices but at the same time not being so far from realistic as to be a fool on the other end of the spectrum.
Thanks Joe, I will do that. I just did a little better research, I can see better comparisons as well now so it gives me a little more to go on.
Book selling is very new to me and I was hoping for your advise.
I picked up a 1st Ed, 3rd Printing of The Story of Ferdinand
I researched and found that prices are high but no sold listings on Ebay.
I am not sure how to interpret and translate this data into a sale price: any sage advise?
Do I price high like others and hope it sells?
Do I recognize that these other sellers are unrealistic and sell at a lower price?Your thoughts? And Thank you!!!
OK, I have to confess that I am a totally idiot!!!!!!! On the back of one of the photos… need I say more? … is the location: Marine Corps Air Station, El Toro. (head smack is resonating throughout the universe!)
