Thank you for the input, very helpful.
I just listed them yesterday and today.
I think I fall between immediate and long tail on the priority scale.
CTLady made a good point and I did additional research just to see if I was on the right track.
I might have overestimated their value so I am going to try a counter offer on a higher amount like you suggested Sharyn and sweeten the deal for him with some bonus mags of a different brand.
Crossing my fingers for a good outcome!
CT Lady, thank you for the reply

Above is the link to the mags. They are being sold for about 20/each free shipping and they appear to be popular. I have more than 36 of them: if I sold for 5.00/each I would make 150.00 or so. But I only need to sell 10 mags at my going rate to make that and still have some left over….
Just trying to do the math and not make an emotional decision.
Joe, help! I just got an offer for a bunch of mags.. I listed a query on the blog just a moment ago. Are you able to help with some advise? I am not sure which way to go on this and your help would be amazing.
RE: Auctions, there is one other use for them which I learned from the Popeye postcard fellow: he uses his free auction listings to save on listing fees when he runs out of BIN listings.
We have a premium store and we are getting close to the 1000 items mark. I picked up a bunch of items that we are testing right now. So instead of listing and forgetting, I wanted to use my extra 500 listings to pilot these items. I priced them at the price that would be BIN but in Auction setting. In this way it does not interfere with my 1000 free listings.
Thanks for the ebay auction shopping tips!
We are in So Cal because we have family here. And yes, it would be MUCH cheaper for us to move but I just refuse to leave my family, especially my parents — I want to be with them as much as possible before we have to say good-bye forever. I would love to save a bunch of money and move to Texas and get out of this concrete jungle but the cost in other ways would be to high for me.
Thank you for the feedback (c: I just love this group. Everyone is so helpful and so giving of their time and help. Truly a pleasure to know you.
@SilverFoxFinds re the shipping, you are absolutely correct. I am in CA so that is the extreme left in more ways than one! I found that expedited shipping and parcel select are sometimes only a minor difference and in some cases my parcel select is higher than the expedited. Large items are definitely given the option of parcel select and expedited. This lot is so light weight that the difference would not even registered on anyone’s frugal radar. And I don’t know if one of you is watching my item but after I posted here I noticed that all of the sudden there was more interest in my box lot.
And, like Tam said above, I was SOOOOOOO happy to get this stuff off my desk FINALLY! It was worth it just for that.
Jay, you bring up a topic that has interested me and I am hoping you might elaborate: how do you search out the auctions on ebay that are like what you just mentioned? People have mentioned this strategy here on the forum a few times and I just wondered what key words you might use. Of course if that is not something you wish to share then I would understand since that would open the door to other people bidding against you. (c:
I also experimented with listing a Junk Drawer Lot after that caller mentioned it, but mine is not as lovely as yours and could be why I did not get the same results. Here is the listing should it be of interest: https://www.ebay.com/itm/162956530143 Feel free to critique.
Well done! Thanks for sharing.
Ryanne, someone once suggested to me to go on Reddit to ask for Asian translations and I got an answer REALLY fast.

My husband has almost no hair and I cut his. I have not spent money on hair cuts for a very very very long time. Not since, like Ryanne, I had someone totally botch my hair.
Retro Treasures, so what happens if you get several accepted offers? Do you then cancel? Not judging just asking.

(I was listening to old podcasts and lost track of which one you mentioned the vacuum) I would love to know what you got. Vacuuming with a crappy vacuum is the WORST! I always dream of having the perfect vacuum.
