Thanks Sharyn, it sounds like something I shouldn’t do right before vacation…
I put entire store on 10% off yesterday and woke up to a $90 sale. Just one, but hopefully the beginning of a good thing.
We’ve been incredibly slow/soft for 1.5 weeks. I mean crazy slow.
Good luck at the auction!
@AdventureE – Aha! It doesn’t happen in Chrome or IE at work. At home I used MS Edge. Thanks very much!
Upon further testing, it doesn’t happen every time with handling cost, but even clicking the box to allow best offers to be made sometimes invokes the 10 cent insertion fee. WTF?!? I’m just revising listings, not adding big photos or anything.
@AdventureE – Sorry to say that didn’t work either. Guess I’ll have to spend a couple hours on the phone with ebay…. or just keep deleting the unwanted html. Thanks to everyone who tried to figure it out.
@Jay – Correct, I’ve never used any of those tools.
@joeMEZZ – opened an inprivate session and the same thing did not happen, but I had to open a new ebay account, etc, so nothing whatsoever looked the same.
AdventureE – It appears for every new listing. I don’t usually do any sell similar. I’m using a laptop running Windows 10. It’s a mystery.
No, never used extensions.
I use a template now but only for verbiage that never changes. I have to insert that template manually though. The item description always comes up blank in the Standard tab, then I add the verbiage template. Never used any active content. No, not doing sell similar. I nearly always start from scratch.
Hopefully this gallery url will work:
That’s what I’m wondering. Where is this code coming from? I’d like to stop it coming up since I have to remove it to avoid the javascript message from ebay. My item description comes up blank under the Standard tab, but there’s a bunch of code under the HTML tab.
