Jersey is a stretchy knit fabric.
It’s very gory.
Wow, I’d like to know what you sell to gross that much with only a 1000 item store.
Fun things: any Monty python movie, or the tv show. Jeeves and Wooster, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Little Britain, Absolutely Fabulous, Fawlty Towers, Blackadder. Many can be found on YouTube.
Upholstery fabric is usually 54 or 56 inches wide and thicker, more sturdy. I’ve sold a lot of fabric and never used pinking shears. No one has complained so you are fine with regular scissors.
I would also use “border print” in your description.
For about a year our sales have been down and I’ve thought about doing the same thing many times. But I still have a ton of things to list, and haven’t been scavenging. Oddly, this week we are selling 2 to 3 times more than usual, old stuff that I’ve forgotten about. I don’t want to claim that ebay is doing anything different, just that slumps and sales come in waves.
But doesnt Ryanne use smart post all the time? I thought she did.
I had occasionally sold things on ebay over the years. Just stuff I wanted to get rid of. Most of the time I lost money on shipping so I didn’t see how people could actually make a living doing it. About 4 years ago I stumbled upon Scavenger Life and learned about calculated shipping and weighing my items properly, adding something for packaging, etc. I simply ADORED Ryanne’s “what sold” videos. I wish she’d still do them even if just once a month or so!
It wasn’t hard to convince my husband to get into ebay. He already had a scavenger mentality and knew something about antiques. So we got into going to auctions, flea markets and yard sales. It’s always a thrill when you turn a buck into 30, 50 or even $100. Before I met him he was flipping things on rare occasions. He once went to a yard sale and bought an old desk for $10 and immediately took it a couple blocks down the road and sold it to an antique shop for $200. LOL, I love that.
Lol, are you Polish?
HI Jess – I feel exactly the same way. Small town life is hard unless you grew up there and know everybody. I’m a northerner transplanted to the south so it’s really hard for me to fit in. I’m not religious but if I was joining a local church and possibly the choir would be a great way to socialize. Seems like most churches are really social clubs anyway. I’ve been taking some local just-for-fun classes like painting, basketry and gardening. That might be an option for you.
The cashiers at thrift store also like to represent their goods as incredible deals. I recently bought a 1980s Sears nativity set and the cashier talked it up and claimed it was Victorian!!! Said Sears right on the box, lol. Why do they feel the need to do this?

I dont use drafts much so it is easy to notice them and delete them. Never bothered to report it since ebay is full of bugs.

Don’t eat until 2pm most days except for cup of tea (sugar, cream, collagen) in the morning. I recently ditched a major splenda addiction and my health is definitely better for it. Have you read Dr. Fung’s book on Fasting? I once did a 3 day fast and it wasn’t bad at all since I had been doing alternate day fasting at that time.
Seems that no matter what regimen you use your body eventually gets used to it and then it helps to change things up. It’s good to skip most breads anyway since all of the glyphosate residue found in conventional grains. So scary what they are doing to the food supply. Good luck on your diet!

I used to do 20 per day and my cravings for carbs never went away. It can negatively impact your thyroid and other hormones. 50 – 100 is much more doable and, I think, healthier in the long run. I need to get back on the diet but I truly hate it, argh!
