Got this as a gift, sold for $88:

It was just a cheap box lot at our first auction that no one else wanted. I thought it was ugly, but I did the research. It was hard finding that term “reticulated” but once I did then it all fell into place. No, there was no mark on the bottom.
Thanks Brian – that was a stroke of luck. We’ve had it listed for just over a year. I got an offer for $180 the day I listed it so on this occasion waiting did pay off. 😀

@John – Do you live in a big city? I just can’t find much high end stuff where I live (in the boonies). On the other hand we generally get things for $1.
Steve – I have this exact same Panasonic radio/cassette. It’s in real bad shape now but what a blast from the past when I saw it in the video. The radio still works on mine, the cassette door has been broken off for a long time, and it’s covered with speckles of paint and drywall dust but the dang thing still works.
The church rummage sales are the best for this area (East TN). We were at one a couple days ago and they had kitchen sized trash bags – fill one for $8. We managed to get 10 pairs of shoes into one. On the other side they had empty boxes with $5 or $10 or $20 marked on the side. Choose your size and fill it for that price. We filled our car with awesome stuff for about $65. The best things we found were a vintage Coach purse, NAOT sandals, Vintage red plaid Woolrich jacket, Carhartt jeans with the tags. Those things would have probably been more at an ordinary yard sale but because the church was just trying to get rid of mountains of stuff they didn’t care.
