Good point Jay! I didn’t think of that because I have an electric stove.
Sometimes things with holes will sell. Cashmere can be sold with holes to crafters. Use the keyword cutter. If it’s a really valuable brand and the hole isn’t noticeable it may sell for a reduced price.
I still pick up things with flaws I didn’t notice at the store. Sometimes I re donate and sometimes I list the item anyway – just make sure you disclose the flaws.

I think if someone is buying it on eBay they don’t really care unless it is a very valuable book. You could just comment that you can’t verify the signature. Good question.

I’m joining up! My goal is to take an informal inventory of how many items I have sitting around unlisted and then figure out when I can have them listed by. I’ll post that when I get it figured out. My inventory is a mess! Right now I have three items that sold that I can’t find.
I’ve been watching a lot of Youtube videos lately which have influenced me and spurred me on to join this challenge. The videos fall into two camps. A couple of people are like personal trainers and hearing them say to quit buying stuff if you aren’t listing it all!!!! has sunk in my brain. The other group of people whose videos I was watching are eBay reseller hoarders. They shop and shop and do haul video after haul video and hardly list. They keep talking and talking about how they don’t list but they don’t seem able to change that. It’s really depressing and I’ve had to quit watching some of them. So I don’t want to become that! Or if I am that I want to stop. So here I am. No more shopping until I list my death piles. Period.
You’re welcome!
Here is one with the same sticker

01/08/2017 at 5:26 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 290: Experimenting with your eBay Store #9778Jay I have Amazon Prime and got it initially for the movies and tv shows. Now that they have Amazon Original Series its even better. I don’t have cable so I watch everything via Amazon and Netflix. I have Roku on my tv. Most of the time I watch my shows on my computer.
I buy quite a bit and don’t filter out Merchant full- filled. Most of the time the prime price and the lowest merchant fulfilled are the same. I never pay more to get two day shipping because I don’t care about it usually. Sometimes if I am out of a supply I like it.
Sounds like you need a break from eBay. If you work full time and do eBay maybe you aren’t getting enough time to do other things which you need to do in order not to burn out. Take some time off. Do fun stuff. The giddy up will come back.
I had this happen in December. Both were willing to ship to the other. I sent them labels and they both sent the packages off the next business day. Both were super nice about it and it all turned out well. I couldn’t believe I let it happen but it happens to the best of us.
I love it Mike! I think I will eventually get a sealer and make my own. Let us know how it works if you get to it first. I agree using the poly mailers more than you probably need.
I do get shipping supplies from my roommate who brings them from his work but i don’t get enough of the pillows and peanuts. Mostly he keeps me stocked up in all sizes of boxes.
Mike thanks for the ideas. I remember seeing somewhere a tutorial on making your own air pillows. I may research and do that at some point. After the initial cost to set up they would be almost free.
Hi Tom. Are most of your customers from England? I’ve always wondered for sellers overseas where most of their customer base is.
Thank you both! Both of your methods are much cheaper than mine.
Thanks for the pillow link shortenedstout
