Nice video!

Yours was the only post I saw.
I’m disturbed seeing face masks being sold on ebay at greatly inflated prices.
A few thoughts.
I have cross posted on Etsy for a few years and the last few months have been pretty dismal on that platform for me. That being said, it being the Christmas season I would think it would be a good time to cross post.
Another thought I had was that jewelry seems to be an over saturated category on etsy. I don’t know how vintage jewelry fares in comparison to new handcrafted. Your photos are really nice so I think you would make good competition for other vintage jewelry selllers.
Of all of the platforms I list on, ebay and etsy take the most amount of time to create a listing. Etsy has changed photo size requirements recently which I’m having a hard time figuring out. The photos that used to work for me no longer work and I have to edit the size just for etsy. That is a time suck so I’m more picky about what I cross post to etsy.
Since you are selling a lightweight item I would work shipping into your price and offer free shipping. Without free shipping your items get pushed down. I offer it on everything except large heavy items.
I did find that after etsy rolled out etsy payments my sales went up but they have gone back down again in the last few months.
Fourth quarter is always my best time of year on etsy. I sell miscellaneous vintage. I also cross post on poshmark, ebay and mercari Hope this helps 🙂
That is the same as I do
I see a four petaled flower echoing the four petaled flower on the bead near it.
Those are neat Jena. I don’t have any pricing advice but am curious where you got them. Estate sale? Thrifted.
Cyndi and her husband at Amazing Taste also put out a video addressing this. They ran some ‘tests’ to check what Auction Professor is stating in his video. They came to the conclusion that the information isn’t accurate. Fast forward to 3.23 min if you want to skip the chit chat.
Atomic Star, in the Ralliroots video the eBay rep says your promoted listings will still sometimes show up in a search as an organic result (not promoted) depending on several factors. That seems like something that would be easy enough to test out.
I too tend to skip over promoted and sponsored listings both on ebay and just in general google searchs etc. It’s making me rethink my use of promoted listings. I have the majority of my store promoted at 1%.
I have noticed that more and more of my sales are from promoted listings.
Ralli Roots also did a video about this issue plus a related Promoted Listings problem. They call ebay concierge during their video and share what they learn. It’s interesting but a bit confusing to me. Worth a watch.
They own it. Check out this conversation from the comments.

Yes as Maggie StL says there is a pic in their insta-story as well but I think those only last 24 hrs
In the linked post the picture is inside their truck. One of the commenters asks if it is their truck and they responded yes. Other than that I don’t know of any other of their posts that mention it. I don’t follow Instagram closely but I happened to see this particular post.
I got a clapper at the bins a few weeks ago. I love it! I hooked it up to my photography lights. The only problem is the sound when I use my shipping tape frequently turns my lights on!
07/10/2019 at 6:30 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 418: Brick & Mortar Store Is Not For Us #64771Mike I’m sorry to hear your wife has to go through chemo and radiation. Ten years I had cancer and went through chemo. Although my cancer was different I have one piece of advice that I think applies. Find a quality forum of people that have the same cancer. People going through the same treatments will have lots of tips and tricks that you won’t get from the doctors and nurses. Just little things that will help get through the side effects and other concerns. Much like scavenger life does for resellers. My best wishes.
