I go with the theory that it’s better to list every day. You could schedule them for ten cents a piece to list some every day. For me when I don’t list my sales go down. I think it triggers something. Could be wrong but I try to do it that way.
I’ll do some research. worth a shot. I’m leaning towards bulb pot/planter now. I’m going to take new pics and try and write a better description before I throw in the towel.
I look back at some of my old listings and half of them probably just need a better picture to sell.
actually it looks like I ended the listing because they weren’t selling after a couple of years. i can’t decide if I should just re-donate or relist them because they are so unique
Jay I do have them listed as bulb pots but I’m just mystified that I have never found anything like them. They don’t seem like one offs to me. They are all identical except for the color. Weird huh?
Habnab that is a good idea but the hole isn’t big enough for much of a ball of twine. not half baked at all 🙂

Jay the buyer had messaged me because she thought her purchase hadn’t completed (it had). And she titled her convo ‘gift registry’. I’m pretty sure somewhere the order was titled gift registry as well but I can’t say for sure.
After her purchase I did a little googling and saw that they have a wedding registry. It is a great idea.
I would think eBay would do well with one as well; maybe they have one that I don’t know about. There are plenty of new with tag baby items, wedding stuff etc.
Christine this challenge has really helped me. As the piles go away I’m getting different ideas for how my workroom would work better. It’s getting easier for me to get rid of mistakes too. The more I do it the easier it becomes.
Jay Joe State gave a shout out to you and Ryanne in the beginning of the show saying your interview with Mark was how they found him.
I’m just starting to listen to the show.
First I’ve heard of it. Let us know if it makes a difference. Do you get any stats showing you when it is used and for what items?
I forgot that you did an interview with him Jay. I am definitely going to go back and listen to that again. Thanks for the link!
Is anyone still doing the challenge?
It’s been 4 weeks since I joined. Little by little the landscape of my house is changing. I’ve sold a lot of things that had been sitting unlisted. Some were items that I didn’t think I should even list but given a chance before they got thrown into the donate bag they actually sold.
I’m not sure what the endpoint of this challenge will be for me. I want to hit a thrift store sooooo bad.
02/13/2017 at 3:44 pm in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 297: Being Frugal vs Running A Business #12442Jay ‘gallery plus’ is never already checked in my listing forms. I list on my mac. I never have to uncheck any of the extras you have to pay for like gallery plus or BOLD. Is it because you are listing on your phone?
02/09/2017 at 10:48 am in reply to: Scavenger Life Episode 296: Are You Keeping Up With Your Inventory System? #12136There is an eBay reseller on youtube called “Ema justanotherseller” who says she is a CPA who is now a reseller. She has one video on eBay and taxes where she says she is going to take questions and produce more videos answering those questions. I can’t vouch for her or anything but I’m interested to see what she has to say in her upcoming videos.
Here is a link to the video
