I asked if that meant I was not being charged and they wrote: “Rest assured that you will not be charged a termination fee.”
Happy ending after all.
04/01/2021 at 11:43 am in reply to: UPDATE to Seller Update: eBay Now Waiving Early Termination Fees for US Stores #87174It seems like this should be a very basic question and yet I am now in eBay chat with a third person who just wrote: “If you took a yearly subscription plan and you change it before it ends, you will be charged a termination fee and this is not waived just you’ve changed it to a different store. it is still considered cancelling the original subscription and you are penalized for that.”
04/01/2021 at 11:41 am in reply to: UPDATE to Seller Update: eBay Now Waiving Early Termination Fees for US Stores #87173Why the heck doesn’t ebay simply send everyone a message explaining that they will waive the early termination fee if that’s what they are going to do instead of making us guess?
I just called eBay and they said flat-rate padded envelopes changed to $8 on March 20. Is that what everyone else is seeing?
I found a post on the eBay community forum, which suggested running a report for the relevant time period, so I did and all my questions are answered there. It shows all the transactions in a spreadsheet very clearly.
Is there someplace to see the transaction where the money is put into this “escrow account?” I can see that the money has been deposited in my bank when I sell an item. But when eBay later says it’s on hold because of a pending return, that money is still in my bank and I don’t see anything held back from payouts. So what exactly is being held and where?
I had a similar problem with a person who never bought anything to me , but sent me rude messages about my listings. Because I responded to his messages, he was able to continue sending more to me even after I put him on my blocked buyer list. I had to call eBay and have them remove all my replies from his messages so he could no longer respond to them.
Consumer Cellular is a no-contract provider.
Actually I have a no contract plan with Consumer Cellular, but they aren’t selling the iPhone 7 right now, so I was trying to find a good place to get one and use with CC.
Not yet, but I’ve complained to my local post office and they knew they agreed with me. Plus, the rates went up.
Figured it out. I just choose “Accept the Return” and click continue and it automatically sends the label to the buyer. Sorry for the premature panic.
No. The buyer is in Washington state.
In Return Details, under “Accept the Return” it says …
“You pay for shipping and can send our return label or your own. Wait to get the item back before you refund the buyer.” But it doesn’t say how to get the buyer the label.
Right. But it’s hard to imagine their motivation. Possibly loneliness, or bitterness over some perceived wrong.
