This is way over my seller head. 😉
That’s crazy. I sometimes thing Vero on Ebay is just haphazard (computer bots). I have lots of pre-owned jersey’s that are replica’s (sold and currently listed,) made by the same company as the professional jerseys (reebok, CCM). So I’m sorry to hear this. Maybe it is all about how it is listed in the title of your listing?
I hope Ebay doesn’t become like Amazon in this respect. Very restricted.Had this happen 2x. Buyer lost on Ebay, went to paypal. I won both cases. A lot of headaches, though.

What's up with that? #31962Over the past 6months or so, Amazon has been making it much more difficult for (average) 3rd party booksellers (lots of road blocks). Many folks have now listed their inventory on Ebay. Huge price variations. I just bought a signed first edition of a contemporary English author for $9. Prices are all over the place, $150 – $40 down to $9. Just my humble opinion.

Great December, dead-ish January. I noticed something, though.
3 sales in two days (yesterday & today) – all 3 listed only yesterday.-

Thanks everyone for your input.
I did see that Roycroft opener pad holder when I did my initial research. Nice item, lots of watchers. I hadn’t considered a glove or scarf holder, and the snaps make it expandable, so it could be for more than one. Excellent idea.
How about something to do with religion, holding something for a pastor or preacher? Just a guess. And Jay, I was wondering why I didn’t get any of these responses via email notice. Sure enough (as you stated on your podcast) they all went to spam. 😉 Spam filter has been very rough lately, like it used to be all the time back in the day.
All my listings are mobile compliant (did the mobile html check etc). These are on some of my listings, not all.
In preview mode, the paragraphs aren’t spaced correctly, the spaces between lines of text are all irregular and meshing into each other. There is something in the html code that might be mobile compliant as such, but not viewable correctly. Does that make sense?
My partner does the shipping. It makes for a very tense situation when this comes up. Nothing gets me angrier. Did it again two weeks ago and did a package intercept.
I have to breathe, calm down, and remember I cannot control every aspect of our business. I try to, but it’s too much for one person. 😉
My smaller sizes sell to folks in Japan, both women’s and men’s… long tail but they move.
Thanks MDC. Great resource. I happen to have packed the art in a box with the same dimensions as fedex offers (custom box 35x28x4) but when I input the box I made in the Flipper Tools site (35x28x4) it says it’s not allowed? Does that make sense?
I would have sent it at $50. No judgement, love you guys, but I’m very suprised. Just sayin’…
I bid on a Dries Van Noten men’s coat… worth a few hundred, like many, many hundreds. The seller got the spelling of the designer’s name wrong, so I nabbed it for under $100. They cancelled, no explanation. I was furious – but nice, and persistent, in my eventual responses (pricing error). I can’t tell you how many times I under-priced things and sent it anyway, and I mentioned this in my Emails. The seller wrote back: ‘well, sometimes life gets in the way of good business, and sometimes not.’
There are many unicorns out there. Virginia, Beverly Hills, Idaho, even Hoboken. You just have to recognize them (you know this already, I’m sure). But to screw someone because you were salivating for a few extra hundred? Oy. Scary. It’s a little scary.

Screenshot of bulk listing tool (which appears to be the same old bulk tool?Ebay send an announcement message (using Ebay messaging system) and a link… yesterday. Double check. 😉
This is crazy. But at least it’s not just me. Joking. I assumed this ‘bug’ you mentioned in a previous podcast would have been taken care of by Ebay at this point.
Jay, should I assume that the 200+ listings Ebay’s new bulk GD editor shows me when I pull it up, that have no alerts, or warnings or read checks next to anything, all comply with GD?
