10/03/2018 at 2:38 pm in reply to: Anyone else get annoying repeat measurement questions for clothes and shoes? #49538
Sometimes I am left with the feeling that a lot of (repeated) measurement ?s come from other resellers. Just a hunch…
It’s hard to get motivated in times like these. It’s hard to ‘spark’ and keep feeding the monster. I feel the frustration with everyone. If that helps.
Since it’s INAD as the reason, I have no choice but to refund fully (pay shipping both ways), correct? Now the husband is offering to send them back on his dime, how do I take him up on that since they opened an INAD?
If I suggest they keep the shoes and I will refund everything but original shipping and the buyer accepts, does that close the case?

08/01/2018 at 12:44 pm in reply to: Ebay agrees it's buyer's remorse but wants me to return shipping? #46629Sonia… would a buyer have to complain to Ebay in order to get original shipping back? Or does Ebay just do it automatically?
Update: I refunded the scammer on the 2nd order, too. Ebay was not going to back me. I just had to eat it. Really ruined my summer. 😉

Elle, I appreciate this message. Very stressful.
The first order they stated INAD and checked wrong item sent. Then said the shirts were stained. Now they are doing the exact same thing (no pictures this time)
I accepted the return, but would NOT upload a shipping label from Japan to the USA and did not state a reason, reported the buyer. I don’t know what happens next. I should have not given in on the first batch and done the same thing, instead fully refunded, they kept the shirts. Trying to do it again…
I assumed there was some protection using GSP. What is seller protection if not for this??
See my post about a buyer in Russia who freight forwarded from Delaware. Offered a refund on upon return TO THE US… he wants $. I keep telling him to ship the item from Moscow to the address I shipped to in the USA. I thought I was done with him, but no, he keeps trying for $.
I think it was Jay who said that once an item is forwarded (freight forwarder – as he admits) that’s where our responsibility ends.
Honestly, I don’t believe they know the difference between international and domestic, gsp vs first class mail. They are reading from a script. First thing I mentioned on today’s call was the fact that this was the gsp. Five minutes into the call, ‘Oh, this is global shipping? Ohhh… ‘ still could do nothing for me. No supervisor available. I lost it.
I have been doing this for a good long while now… I have never been this upset with Ebay. Wrong info, opening up cases when I just called for information from them… No protection.
I tried to just refunded with this idiot so I wouldn’t get upset like this… then they do it again?? I have to purchase a return label from japan or give the buyer another refund?? ($110 each order). ‘Well, you can report the buyer’. Big help.
Thanks for letting me vent. Is there any recourse here? I accepted the second return and refused to upload a return label.
Bravo!
Thanks everyone… I feel better now. 😉 Since I have already sent the the buyer an email re: returns, 100% customer satisfaction, etc etc, he either returns it for a 100% refund, or doesn’t, at this point.
T
I did cut and paste your post re: 100% satisfaction. 😉 I have no issue with that. I returned many items INAD purchased through small sellers (not often,) more than I should have had to, sadly.
Now, if I refund him 20$ to make him go away, would that prevent neg feedback or can he still open a return as if I never partially refunded him for his ‘inconvenience’?
T
Additionally… (sorry folks, I’m upset eek)
If I refund him $20, he can still start a return since he never opened one, correct?Response:
“I have not the plan about returning. I mean price is not corresponding with item conditions as it was described on lot. I’ll prefer partial money refund. I consider fair reduction of the sale price by US $20.
The bit of pictures see in att.
Regards,
Oleg”He attached photos of the strop with small knife marks. My listing pics show no knife marks. At all. Clean as a whistle.
So yes, he’s fishing. Do I just ignore him? Or reiterate he needs to return the item?
ThanksI just sent off the combo of the two suggestions (So Cal Joe & MDC). Thanks so much. We’ll see what happens.
How do I send a PM to a member? I’d like to get my email to MDC. 😉
